Yummy packaging

A few days ago, I posted THIS youtube video about stamping using an embossing folder, and this is my project I have created using the same technique.  I have used the hexagon embossing folder - can you see the lovely white pattern on the cellophane bag?

I have also been inspired by our new Stampin' Up! catalogue and I have CASED this project on page 44 which features the Amazing Birthday stamp set.

Ridiculously Amazing Bookmarks

I love to read, so I love bookmarks, so I love to make bookmarks and give to others for gifts!
This bookmark uses Amazing Birthday and it is stamped with Bemuda Bay on Pool Party cardstock, with the word 'amazing' stamped in Island Indigo on Whisper White then cut and stuck onto the bookmark.  I have also used a piece of Retro Fresh Washi Tape at the top too!!

Woo Hoo - a win on SUO

I entered this little project into SUO challenges for bows, bows, bows, and made the top 3!  Woo Hoo - you can see the post on SUO HERE to see the other beautiful projects too

Typeset Specialty Designer Series paper

This new specialty Designer Series paper is just GORGEOUS!!  I've used it to make some little pouches that hold three little tags stamped from the Hello There Hostess Stamp Set.

I've decorated the tags with some Blushing Bride cotton ribbon, gold sequin trim and black and gold thin taffeta ribbon.

The pouch uses the same ribbons with the addition of the new Venetian Crochet Trim.

These are my gift to people who book a Stampin' Up! party, so if you would like one, contact me today to book your next get together with friends and family so you can all be inspired to create together and share your creativity!  Click HERE to go to my website and contact me to book your party.

Practicing practicing......

I had a whole pile of these lovely blooms on my desk that I had used to practice my colouring techniques with the Blendabilities pens.  Sp, my challenge was then - what to do with them all!!!

After a lots of thinking and playing, this is what I arrived at in the end - and I'm very happy with the results!!!

Chalk Talk Grateful

Look at this gorgeous card I received recently - isn't it beautiful!!  I hope it inspired YOU to have a go at creating a lovely card to give to someone you care about!!

Gorgeous Gifts

Recently I had the honour and privilege to share my faith with a group of children preparing to celebrate their Sacraments - and I am so grateful to have had this wonderful opportunity.  So I was fully not prepared to receive such a beautiful thank you gift from my group - including this card, a gorgeous gift box full of letters to me from the children, and some magnificent flowers!!

I have been so overwhelmed by their love and support - and feel so very blessed.

Gift Cards in a Bag

This is my entry for the Challenge this week at CASEthecatty - gift & packaging.  I've used the lovely gift bag on page 18 as my stimulous.  I've changed the bakers twine to go around the top rather that vertically, and my tag is a little different to coordinate with my project.

My gift package includes these little cuties to give a gifts to some lovely friends!  I've used Work of Art for my stamping, and the little polka dot works well stamped onto the front of the bag too!!

CASE the catalogue

This project is copied from our current catalogue - on page 70 - the only change I made was to use Daffodil Delight cardstock for the card, and I used the Deco Labels framelits (I don't have the Floral Frames Collection)

The stamp set is Daydream Medallions with Teeny Tiny Sentiments for the greeting.

Bloom with Hope Gift Card holder

This is a little gift card holder that opens to reveal a pocket with a gift card inside.  On the front I have stamped and coloured with our new Blendabilities the lovely images from Bloom with Hope, which has the dictionary stamp set as the background, and the greeting from Work of Art stamped onto vellum.

The gift card holder is closed with this lovely Crumb Cake seam binding - which I think makes the most glorious bows - so this little project is my entry into

Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky

This week's challenge is for colours AND layout and I really struggled with BOTH.  I was so out of my comfort zone with this challenge - I rarely use these colours and I was really challenged with the layout too!!

But in the end, all my crazy half attempts turned out to be a very pretty card!!!

What do you think???

Confirmation Bookmarks

Again, I've used Kinda Ecletic for my background stamping on these lovely bookmarks that I gave as gifts for all the children I prepared for their sacraments.

I"ve used the Starburst and the little butterfly in the background, and the main images come from some retired stamp sets - Crosses of Hope and Special Blessings.  The colours are Hello Honey and Cherry Cobbler.
