Apron of Love for some Big Shot Love CTC#175

Hello and Welcome to the wonderful world of the CASEING the CATTY Sunday Night Blog Hop!!

We are a design team focussing on the catalogue samples for Stampin' Up! - and challenging you to look at the catalogues with new eyes and be inspired all over again every week!!

This week, we are featuring our favourite Big Shot project from the Occasions Catalogue.

My inspiration comes from the Apron of Love bundle featured on page 47.

This beautiful duo of Stamp Set and coordinating framelits will carry over into our New Annual Catalogue beginning on 1st June 2018 - so....... I've used a BRAND NEW BUNDLE which is also one of the new exciting suites in the New Catalogue.  The Share What You Love bundle features some awesome stamp sets, embossing folder, papers, Designer Series Paper and embellishments. (psst, you can order it next month - EARLY!!)

My projects are featuring the lovely Share What You Love DSP and embellishments.

This is my favourite card - a direct CASE of the daffodil delight card in the photo.

The cute little box also features an older stamp from Workshop Words Too and it has the lovely new twine from the Share What You Love embellishment kit as the gift item.

I tried to create a masculine card here.... but I think it's not quite there!!  😊

And my last card is an original!  I had some left over apron pieces, so I threw them onto a card AND I wanted to use the lovely super soft Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon.

I've cased the whole photo!!

Here's a little hint for putting the apron together - I've used snail onto the back of my apron to help position the neck and waist ties, and then anchored them using my dimensionals for extra stability.

My other little hint shows the lovely Pearlized Doily for behind the central image.  I've cut it in half and used some snail on the DSP to position the doily halves, and then anchor it again using dimensionals on my background piece.  This saves having the fiddlyness of dealing with the super fine detail of the doily, and preventing any mess and breakage of the doily!

Now it's time for you to head over to see Rebecca's totally gorgeous tone on tone Big Shot project.

Please add your project to our lineup at the CASEING the CATTY Sunday Challenge facebook page!!  It's so lovely to share some awesome inspiration with everyone!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia    x
