CTC#299 Step up a project!!

Hello and Welcome to our first CASEING the CATTY Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge!!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything, or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! Catalogues.

The Challenge this week, is to step up a project from our Annual Catalogue.

I've cased the Lovely You Card from the back cover of the Catalogue.  I've used the same layout, but stepped up the images, and punching and texture based on the gorgeous Flowers for Every Season paper.

The colours for my card are Just Jade for the base, and the embossed panel is Bumblebee, and I've used some touches of Poppy Parade. There is very little stamping on this card - only the greeting from the Art Gallery stamp set (a NEW stamp set available from Tuesday!!)  with Poppy Parade Ink

I've stepped up the background of the Rectangle Postage punched paper by embossing  the Bumblebee panel using one of the Greenery folders.

Inside the card features a couple of the flowers from the Flowers for Every Season paper fussy cut, and embellished using the Gilded Gems.

I've stepped up the greeting panel by using the super fabulous Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for both layers.

And my final touch is a spiral of the wonderful gold cord from the Wonder of the Season ribbon, and some Gilded Gems.

Up next on our first hop for 2020 is the lovely Rebecca and her wonderful project also featuring the Flowers for Every Season stamp set.

We'd love to welcome you to be part of the challenge too - just add a photo of your project to the lineup on our Facebook challenge page - you don't even need to have a blog!!

  1. Doesn't that paper look stunning using the punch! It really stands out. Such a pretty card.

  2. Such a lovely card. So bright and vibrant. I wouldn’t think to add Bumblebee and Poppy Parade to the other colours but it works. Great job.

  3. Lovely card Julia, these colours work so well together. I hadn’t even noticed this card on the back cover of the catalogue.
