Colour INKspiration #98 Gorgeous Roses

Hello and Welcome to our fun challenge focusing on Colour INKspiration.

The challenges are inspired by images from Pinterest which have their colours labelled from our amazing Stampin' Up! collection.

I've used a new stamp set and coordinating punch - the Flowers of Friendship bundle (you can order it from next Tuesday 4th May) for my card.  The flower outlines were stamped using the Magenta Madness, and then coloured with Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends, and the Leaves stamped with Pear Pizzazz and coloured with Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends again.

The background of the card features the Birch stamp set and Gray Granite - inspired by the log in the foreground of the photo.  The roses inspired the circle feature of my card created using the Layering Circle dies.

Stamping the Birch for the inside of the card was super easy using the Stamparatus - I offset my cardstock so that only the edge was stamped which made creating these cards quite quick and easy.

Kit CASE CTC#315

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing inspirational Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week, we are CASEING a kit from the catalogues.

Hopefully you can see that I've CASED the Gorgeous Posies project kit.  I've CASED the colours and the layout and then used a NEW stamp set from our NEW Catalogue.  This is the gorgeous Hand Penned Petals stamp set - and I've just loving playing with it!  This is one of the cards for my class in May featuring the Hand Penned Petals bundle.

The flowers have been coloured using Stampin' Blends in the same colours as the Gorgeous Posies kit - Highland Heather, Petal Pink and Shaded Spruce.  I've stamped the flowers using Blackberry Bliss.  There's some background stamping using Soft Sea Foam.

Inside the card features the same colouring and flowers.

I've used one of the great edge dies from the Penned Flowers dies along with some of the lovely striped Petal Pink ribbon.  The greeting was stamped onto another NEW die  from the Tailor Made Tags dies which are also fast becoming a favourite!!

Up next with some kit inspiration is the lovely and talented Rebecca and her lovely undersea card!!

We'd love you to join in the fun with us and add your project caseing one of our kits to our Facebook challenge page!!

Only a few days left to grab a bargain from our retiring catalogue!!  Don't miss out!!

Lovely Neutrals for Social Stamping blog hop

Hello and Welcome to our monthly blog hop to celebrate Social Stamping!!

This group was created by the creative and inspirational Kelly Kent as a way to celebrate stamping together wherever we are!!  So you'll see people on this hop from all over the place!!  Make sure you keep hopping all the way around to get so much amazing inspiration. This month, we are celebrating the amazing colours from the Neutrals!!

I've used Night of Navy, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake to feature a brand NEW bundle from our NEW Catalogue - it's called Hand Penned Petals, and I'm really having a marvellous time creating with it - this card will feature in one of my classes during May focusing on the Hand Penned Bundle.

The embellishments feature some gorgeous Faux Suede trim, gold foil, white ribbon from the Flowers for every season ribbon pack, and a little piece of vellum to anchor the cluster in the middle of the front of the card.  I stamped all over a piece of white cardstock and then sliced it into 3 to make my panels for the front of the card.

Inside the card features some more of the 2 step stamping from Hand Penned Petals.  I love the artistic finish of the stamped images.

I've used the Label me Fancy punch for the title.  Haven't the neutral colours made this card look so peaceful!  I hope you like it too!!

Up next is the amazing  Sandra and her neutral project.

If you get lost along the way on the hop, feel free to click here to see the list of everyone on the hop.

We have a lovely new Paper Pumpkin kit to share with you this month.  If you love kits, then this one is for you!!

Which punch is my favourite? CTC#314

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! Catalogues (CATTY).

This week, we are CASEING our favourite retiring Punch, and I've chosen to spotlight a few of my favourites - the Small Bloom Punch (love love love and so useful), the Butterfly Duo Punch (again, one of those I'm always using) and also the Timeless Label Punch (I love all the Label punches for greetings!!)

I've also used a retiring stamp set - Butterfly Wishes - which is one of those gorgeous Distinktive stamp set.  The little flower in the set actually DOESN'T coordinate with the small bloom punch however, it DOES work remarkably well!!

The inside of the card received the same loving as the front - minus the Pastel Pearls in the centres of the cute little flowers.

I really really love the great butterfly stamps we have that coordinate with the Butterfly punch, and find them amazingly useful in covering up little woopsies on my projects!!  The branch image from Butterfly Wishes was stamped using Pretty Peacock twice and the Rococo Rose flowers are popped over the top of all the Peacock flowers in the stamped image.

I've also coordinated a little of the Seaside Spray ribbon at the base of the front (and inside) to bring in the gorgeous Seaside Spray butterflies.

This card featuring Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green was actually the first card I created (and I didn't like it, so then made the other one!!  Funny the way we meander along our creative journey!)

I like the colours, but somehow it just wasn't doing it for me!!

This card has a different orientation to the other, and it also featured the Timeless Label punch for the greeting.  I've also embossed the front panel using the Subtle embossing folder.

The Rococo Rose pearls worked just a well with the Flirty Flamingo flowers as they do for the Rococo Rose flowers!!  Which one do you like??

Up next is the amazing Michelle and her brilliant balloon project!!  Love love love.

We'd love you to join the challenge with us too over on our Facebook challenge page.   Which retiring punch is your favourite?
