Scrapbooking Global blog hop

Hello and Welcome to our Monthly Scrapbooking blog hop!!

I love this group because it makes me do some scrapbooking at least once per month!!  And we are all invited to join in the hop which is just marvellous!!

The challenge this month was designed by Sara Levin and it's called 'Let's Strip'!!

I've taken the design brief literally, and rummaged in my scraps drawers for LOTS of strips of left over papers!! This is a great way to use up lots of leftovers!!  And actually didn't really make a dint in the pile!!  (sigh) I've chosen the colours of the strips of paper to coordinate with my photos which are all very neutral.

My embellishment to fancy up all the strippyness (is that a word?) consists of the lovely Meadow dies cut using the Pearlescent Paper and the Be Dazzling Sale-a-bration paper.  I coloured the Pearlescent paper using Stampin' Blends - and I love the softness!!

And the finishing touch is a little double bow using Linen Thread.

I've stamped a bunch of titles onto the brilliant Linen paper and sponged the edges using Crumb Cake.  This one comes from Peaceful Moments.

There's another greeting from Seascape, and also the one at the very top comes from the Sale-a-bration hostess stamp set In Your Words.

Can you see the little Be Dazzling butterfly at the top?  Isn't it the cutest!!!

Here's a link to a video I created for this page

Up next is the wonderful Courtenay - I love her amazing work!

Here's a list of everyone on the blog hop in case you get lost along the way
