Do you love BLING? Of COURSE you do!!!

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented Australian crafters who love sharing with you!!

This month we are celebrating BLING - and we ALL love bling I'm sure!!

My card is inspired by a stunning card shared by Melissa at Stampin MJ here
My card is almost the same, but I've add BLING!  The flowers are cut from the Floral Impressions dsigner paper and the brushes come from the Trusty Tools stamp set.

I added colour using Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends and then glued the flowers over the top and then added Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling and Cloud Cover Flat Pearls for all of the bling!!  I think it really makes it sparkle!!

Inside are the left over flowers with some more colouring!

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of amazing inspiration just for you!

Quick and Easy Weekend Adventures CTC#522

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight you get to enjoy our amazing CASEING the CATTY blog hop.  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty!)

This week, we are using the Quick & Easy options pages as our springboard for creativity!

And my inspiration comes from the very middle of the page!  I've used similar colours and basic layout.

My card features the fun Weekend Adventures stamp set which has lots of fantastic scrapbooking words and these cute images too.  Rachel has another great card featuring these images too here!

Hopefully you can notice that I've added some sparkly wink of stella after colouring the mug with Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends.
Here's a little tip for putting the flowers into the mug - snip along the front edge of the mug about 3/4 of the way along, pop the flowers behind this cut line, and then adhere it all together.  You can't notice the cut end because it all joins together.  This saves you getting out the crafting knife to slice into the centre.

I've added some more coloured flowers for inside the card too.

Up next is the extraordinary Peta

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of great ideas!
