Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop Sketch!

Hello and Welcome to a wonderful Blog Hop with Scrapbooking Global.
I'm always so inspired by the amazing people in this Facebook group!!

The hop for this month is a Sketch Challenge - which I find is a brilliant way to get the mojo moving for scrapbooking!!

The theme this month comes from the amazingly inspirational Sharni.

I've been very literal with the sketch and the details in it.  My bottom layer features the scripty paper from the World of Good paper, and the page also uses a few of the awesome World of Good Memories and More cards.

The vellum layer underneath the photos has been sponged around the edges using a smaller piece of paper as a mask.  I've also stamped a few images from the Tasteful Touches stamped with Soft Suede Ink.

I've flicked a few drops using a Gold Wink of Stella pen over the background and vellum layers.

The colours for my page are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and touches of Gold Foil and I think they really help the beachy photos pop!!

I've also added some of the Boho Indigo Kit gold ribbon and Embroidered Ribbon from the Plaid Tidings Suite in the Mini Catalogue.

Up next on our hop is the wonderful Jo for some more inspiration.

  1. Julia! Your page is awesome! I love all the little details and the use of the Scripty paper..I nearly did the same, lol!The colours you have chosen are perfect for the photos and I think having the photo in the middle slightly bigger just sets it off perfectly!
