Blind Scrapbooking - should be interesting?

Hello and Welcome to our monthly blog hop inspiring you to scrapbook!!

This is an amazing international group and I just LOVE being inspired every month by these amazing people!

Our challenge this month was designed by Courtenay - and it really  as a challenge!!

Her theme was blind scrapbooking - we had a list of items and steps to follow without knowing what it would look like!!  I think the actual recipe called for only 1 photo, but I adapted my page to incorporate 2 photos (I hope that was allowed in the rules!!!!!)

I've made the best use of the gorgeous Natural Prints Suite and coordinating paper for a page for my son's birthday - I'm hoping it doesn't look too girly for him!!

The colours are Starry Sky and Sahara Sand with a few touches of white and Gray Granite.

I like the addition of the doodling on the edges of the papers - that's something I never usually do, but I gave it a go for this challenge (that WAS in the instructions!!).

I hope you've been inspired!!  Make sure you keep hopping to see all the creative results from Courtenay's fun blind scrapbooking recipe!!

UP next is the fabulous Jill

Here's the list of everybody in case you get lost along the way.

  2. I love your page Julia! It is definitively not too feminine. The colours work so well together and I love all your stamping & doodling! Love the white embossing of the foliage on your base page. Beautiful.

  3. Great job with all the elements on your page. Blues seem to be the popular color choice this time - lol! Jill
