Scrapbook Inspiration CTC#554

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight you get to enjoy our amazing CASEING the CATTY blog hop.  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty!)

This week, we are CASEING a scrapbook layout which offers such a great lot of potential!!

I love this scrap layout on the inside of the front cover of the mini catalogue with it's celebration of little squares of pretty paper.

I've chopped a bunch of 2 inch squares using the Mixed Up Patterns designer paper and laid them out in a diagonal grid all over the front of my Embossed Design Mix and Match card.  I then stamped a couple of the pieces using the sweet flowers in the Woolly Friends stamp set.  I've coloured them using watercolour pencils and a Wink of Stella brush.

I've then very carefully adhered them to the card front using foam dimensionals to create the lovely texture and shadows.  The overlapping edges were trimmed off...........

and then stuck inside the card to continue the theme.  Again, I've made a fun feature of the cute flowers coloured using watercolour pencils and the Wink of Stella brush.

I love the way this super cute little sheep is so easy to punch and enjoy!!  He's been coloured with pencil and the Wink of Stella too.  Here's some hints for making the most out of this awesome punch and stamp set.

Up next is the extraordinary Peta

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of great ideas!
