This week, we are CASEING from a scrapbook layout in our catalogue!!
And while I love scrapbooking and was hugely tempted to whip up a page, I needed an idea for classes this week, soooo used this lovely scrap page in the Mini Catalogue as my starting point.
I liked the corner detail, and the title with the flagged ends, so that's where my card began!!
I've used the True Blue Florals paper for my fun card - but this is a technique you can use with ANY gorgeous paper to create a fun card to highlight both sides of lovely designer paper.
I have a card base which measures the standard card size, and then the DSP is slightly larger and folded over so you can see both sides of the paper. This time I've combined the paper with stamping from the Joyful Squares for the corner detail, and from Delicate Whispers for the flowers. The greeting comes from Banner Sayings and is cut using the very useful Three Banner Punch.
