Noel Tidings Colour INKspiration #220

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining in with the Colour INKspiration crew and our awesome colour combination!!

This is such a beautiful bird!!!

I'm on a mission to get a bunch of Christmas Cards complete - and so here's another!!  It's amazing that you can really use any colours to create Christmas Cards.

I've used watercolour paper which I wet around the edges, and then stamped the leaves and details.  I dried to paper using my heat tool and then stamped again to give more detail and precision.

I'm not sure if I like the finished product - I was experimenting - but it was fun to see where the water created the lovely wash effects.

This stamp set is the Noel Tidings set which has my FAVOURITE greeting - love that big Merry Christmas.

Inside the card the stamping is the same, but with out the watercolour effect..... which is your favourite?

Would you use these colours for Christmas?
