Birthday Blooms

As you probably know, I LOVE watercolouring, and this set is just sooooooo wonderful to sit and colour - sigh, so beautiful.  This card is copied from our catalogue and I just love how it looks!!

Vivid Vases 'V' and colour challenge

 

So, I've had fun with these two challenges!  Just Add Ink are challenging us to Just Add 'V', so I've pulled out the great stamp set Vivid Vases and dusted it off for this one!!  And the Paper Players have a perfect colour challenge to coordinate with this lovely watercoloured project!!

  

I used my clear wink of Stella brush to watercolour with inks onto these lovely vases, but of course, photography doesn't do the final image any justice at all!!  I also added some crystal effects onto my vases, so they just pop right off the page!!

I even used Pool Party and Daffodil Delight to make the green for the leaves!!!  So no deviation from the colour challenge at all!!

And, because I was really having a lovely time feeling artistic with my watercolouring, I've made another card with the same image - fewer colour embellishments on this card!

And there's a little bit of glitter tape on this card!!  Isn't it divine?

I been having a play with this lovely paper and the coordinating stamp set Flowering Fields.

This are pretty basic cards - mostly using the paper as the star of the show, and adding one of the stamped images and a greeting.

I've cased from the front cover (again) - this time using the Memories in the Making Project Life cards for this wonderful card.  The two printed window sheet cards are layered over the top of some of the Bemuda Bay Perfectly Artistic DSP - also a Sale-a-bration product (only until tomorrow though).

Hello for Global Design Project

I've really gone VERY simple and basic for this sketch challenge from GDP - and relying on the subtle elements of the Perfectly Artistic DSP and the lovely watercoloured image on the paper.

Sometimes, all I need is a note card that I can write a message onto - and so this card has very little sentiment or embellishment.

Hello for the JAI Colour Challenge

Just Add Ink have a lovely colour challenge this week.  

I've used the colours as my focus for this gift bag of little note cards!

We're so lucky at the moment to have the divine sparkly Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and the Pool Party Glitter ribbon - sigh, they are both so beautiful!!

I've also added some of the totally fun honeycomb embellishments onto the centre of my flowers - and they come in Blushing Bride and Pool Party too!!

Bloomin Heart Valentine for CTC #65

I've been inspired by the wonderful Bloomin' Heart die and the Love Blossoms Suite in the Occasions Catalogue.

See those two cards on the left there.... my card is a mashup of the two!!  I've used the glorious Bloomin' Heart Thinlit Die as my central feature, and then popped my greeting across the middle of the heart like the card on the far left.  I've added a couple of delicious glimmer paper flowers in Blushing Bride and Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper with a divine pearl in the middle.

(sounds like I'm eating my card doesn't it!!!)  My final embellishment is a little bow of white bakers twine under the greeting which comes from our Sale-a-bration Hello stamp set.
