One Sketch 3 ways CTC#471

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining my lovely friends at CASEING the CATTY.  To CASE it to Copy And share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit as we love to CASE from our amazing catalogue.

This week, we are CASEING one of the fun sketches on page 22.

My sketch features a triple panel, and I've created 3 different versions.

My first card features some embossed panels using the dots embossing folder along with some die cutting from the Flowers of Beauty dies.

And the inside of the card is fairly simple.

On this masculine card I've stamped over all the background panels to give them cohesion.

And my final card features designer paper panels.

With simple details for the inside of the card.

I hope you check out these amazing sketches in our catalogue - they are a brilliant starting point for all your cardmaking.

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn

Tonight I'm joining the Colour INKspiration challenge sharing great ideas with gorgeous gelato colours.

Summer Splash is one of my new favourites!!  It's soooo pretty!

And the Country Birdhouse suite is in my favourites pile too.

I've coloured the Birdhouse using Summer Splash Stampin' Blends and added cardstock die cut details to embellish.

The background comes from the Country Woods papers.

Inside is some more die cut fun in these gorgeous colours!

Scrapbooking Frames & Flowers DSP for CTC#470

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn

Tonight I'm joining in with the fun CASEING the CATTY.  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING the colours of the frames and flowers DSP.

This week, my creativity went for a little holiday.... so I CASED the paper AND the catalogue imagery featuring this paper straight onto a scrap page.

I think this page is a very different style to my usual - very structured and rigid (that's a symptom of my creativity being on holidays!!  I just couldn't think how else to do this!!)

The background paper is pretty amazing - it has a gorgeous ombre feel in the whole sheet as well as the gorgeous silver foil detail - AND it's in the fabulous colour of the Frames and Flowers paper.

I CASED the tags as they are in the catalogue - and only added some pretty pearls and the journalling using the Lost Lagoon marker.

Oh, and this is different too - the title of the page was created using the Thoughtful Moments hybrid folder - and it's perfect for a scrap page.

I hope you've been inspired by the catalogue (and my easy interpretation of it!!) and I would certainly recommend this great paper with the Frames and Flowers - so easy to use!!

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots more amazingness.

Can you guess my 3 favourite colour?

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today, I'm joining the awsesome Scrapbooking Global group to share some creative inspiration!

Our theme this month is to choose our 3 favourite colours for our Scrapbook page.

sooooooo, did you guess mine?  OF COURSE it would be green!!  Specifically I've chosen Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive - and don't they look AWESOME together!!

I have used a greeting from the Words Ephemera pack which worked perfectly for my title!!  Love that!

And splattering around the background using Stampin' Blends - to make it look artistic!!  lol

This is a great way to use gorgeous papers with the banners!!

The papers are from the Flowering Zinnia's and Delightful Floral Online Exclusives collections.

I hope you're inspired and that you keep hopping all the way around!!
