Get well Soon inspiration with Social Stamping

Hello and Welcome to another wonderful blog hop to celebrate Social Stamping.

This amazing group of stampers was started by Kelly Kent as a way for all of us to keep in contact during this challenging year.  We are now doing a Monthly hop to continue the wonderful connections.  If you would like to see everyone's link in the hop, just click on the banner above to go to the Blog Host.

The theme this month is Get Well Soon - and it's always super useful to have a few cards in my stash for when I need them.  So I've made a couple of these ready!

This card is a z fold with some Gilded Autumn designer paper on the front flap and half of the inside of the card.  I've stamped the greeting in Cajun Craze from Many Mates stamp set.  The inside stamping is in Mint Macaron from Forever Fern stamp set and a greeting from Fancy Phrases.

The front of the card also features a little overlap for the greeting embellished with a couple of leaves from Forever Fern and the Flourishing Ferns dies.

Up next on our hop is the wonderful Elizabeth who is always inspirational.

If you get lost along the way, click on the above graphic to head to the Blog Host to see the list of everyone!!

Colour INKspiration #88 Cherry Blossoms

Hello and Welcome to an another wonderful image and colour combination from Colour INKspiration.

Our challenge is inspired by some amazing images from Pinterest.

This time the colours are Pretty Peacock, Just Jade, Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake.

I have been totally inspired by the stunning image of the Cherry Blossoms in the background which are so very Van Gogh who's art is incredible, and my absolute favourite!!

I stamped onto Fluid 100 watercolour paper using the Saddle Brown Stazon Ink, and then used my waterpainter and these colour challenge inks to play and paint!!  The stamp set is the lovely Forever Blossoms.  When I finished painting and adding colour to my image, I then didn't want to cover up any of it, so I've made this card into an easel card.

Inside the card is some simpler watercolouring and the main greeting punched using the Lovely Labels pick a punch.

After the watercolouring was all dry, I went over some of the images again with the coordinating markers to add highlights and more detail.

CASEING from the Bundle Index CTC#291

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues (Catty).

This week, we are CASEING from the Bundle index in the Mini Catalogue....

August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue  page 71  all images © Stampin' Up! ®

and my inspiration comes from the sweet and simple card on the bottom of page 71.

I've been inspired by the layout and the colours, but I've used the Four Season Floral stamp set from our Beginner Catalogue.  The background of the card features some paper from the In Good Taste patterned paper (above), and the Gilded Autumn paper (below).

I've die cut the little frond from the Boho Indigo dies from gold foil, and added some gold twine from the Forever Greenery ribbon combo pack.

I've coloured the lovely roses using Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends.

I enjoyed this card so much, that I made quite a few ready to send for orders this month!!

Up next is the lovely Tina who is ALWAYS inspirational.

And please feel free to join in the fun with us by adding your project to our lineup on our Facebook challenge page here.

CTC290 Paper colour Inspiration

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING from the colours of the Plaid Tidings paper which is:  Cherry Cobbler, Melon Mambo, Blackberry Bliss, Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Bumblebee, and Pumpkin Pie

These colours work really well with my photos for this page.  I've used the Boho Indigo stamp set and the Jar of Flowers stamp set to show off all these colours.  I've also added  a few strips of the Plaid Tidings paper to continue the colour theme.

Some of the jars are stamped onto vellum and some stamped directly onto the background paper.

I think these two stamp sets work really well together to create the lovely clusters of flowers in vases!!

The lovely Shaded Spruce leaves are cut using the Boho Indigo dies balancing out all these bright colours.

Up next on our hop this week is the amazing Monique.

We'd love you to join the fun with us too!  It's easy to add your photo to our facebook challenge group.
