Fern and Flora to the Tic Tac Toe rescue!! Let's Craft Together Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented Australian crafters who love sharing with you!!

Annette has given us a great challenge this month!!  You get to choose three elements of the grid by going in a straight line in any direction - and I hope you can see my direction!!
I've chosen:  Dry Emboss, Any Shade of Green (of course) and Gold.

Here's my Fern and Flora card (which now that I look at the photo looks very like the Australian team colours of green and gold!!! )

I've emboss a piece of Peaceful Pine Pearlized paper using the Fern and Flora embossing folder, and then added Golden Glow and Gold Foil die cut leaves with some gold ribbon.

My finishing touches is some of the gorgeous Gold Foil butterflies in our ONline Exclusives collection this month and some Golden Glow embellishments.

Inside the card is some more embossing and a bit of stamping.

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of amazing inspiration just for you!

Favourite DSP is...... CTC#576

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight you get to enjoy our amazing CASEING the CATTY blog hop.  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty!)

This week, we are CASEING our favourite DSP!!

And the winner is....... Valley in Bloom!! I've CASED one of the pages from the kit on page 25 that features the Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop Kit.

I've used the stamps and dies from the Valley in Bloom bundle to create a couple of bunches of flowers using the dies above, and the stamps below.

Simply Leaves Colour INKspiration #212

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Tonight I'm joining in with the Colour INKspiration crew and our awesome colour combination!!

I think I say this every time - but check out these colours!!

I'm using a new set coming in July - Simply Leaves and there's a coordinating punch!!  Gotta love a coordination punch!!

The little leaf is fussy cut but really leaves are so easy to cut out anyway!!  And I've added some splattering for extra colour!!

Inside the card is very similar - and I've stamped the same word three times (it comes from the saying on the front) but using some judicious inking of the stamp so only that word has ink!!  What a great way to get more value from your stamps!

And to highlight the greeting on the front, I've used an oldie but a goodie technique to ink the edges by gently putting the edge of the cardstock on the ink pad just to give it a little colour!

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page.
