A colour Craft Challenge blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to another fun Craft Challenge Blog Hop with a bunch of amazing international stampers!!

This time we have an image and colour challenge to share with you.

This is a gorgeous wintery scene with stunning trees and the colours are lovely!!

But this was a real challenge for me! So I used some of the fabulous Boughs of Holly designer paper and fussy cut a front layer of trees to create the image.  I also sponged some White ink all over the back layer of trees to try and replicate the snowy image.

The greeting and extra greenery comes from the Merriest Moments stamp set which is mounted onto a label cut from the Potted Succulents dies (I use these dies so much for the great labels that they have!).  I added some black die cut flowers from the Merriest Frames dies as well.

I'm not too sure about the Soft Succulent bow, but I thought I needed something to give it the finished touch.

Inside the card is some more fussy cut trees and simple stamping from the Merriest Moments stamp set.  I just LOVE those dots for fixing any splodges or inky mistakes!!

Make sure you keep hopping around everyone to see lots of wonderful inspiration!!

Love the Texture Chic paper!! CTC#397

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty)

This week, we are CASEING the colours of the Texture Chic paper - which are:  Petal Pink, Mango Melody, Pool Party, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Gold.

I've loosely CASED the scrap page featuring the cute little girl to create a tent card featuring calendars for next year.  I made a bunch of these for my lovely friends.

I've used the lovely Texture Chic paper and the coordinating Seasons of Chic stamp set, and then added some texture using the Bough Punch with Mango Melody cardstock, and the Evening Evergreen glimmer paper with the Texture Chic papers.

The stamping for the greeting panel on the back features a sneak peek for 2 new stamp sets coming in the Mini Catalogue starting 5th January 2023.

I love the Texture Chic paper and have used so much in my projects this year!!  It works with so many ideas, and the gold foil is just lovely!!

Make sure you keep hopping - up next is marvellous Michelle!

Watercolouring Love CTC#396

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty).

This week, we are caseing a watercolour project from our catalogues.

I was inspired by the fun watercolour wash background of this lovely green card on page 51 of the Mini Catalogue.  I've cased the layout and the technique of creating a wash using a water painter and ink.

My card features Night of Navy and Starry Sky inks.  I've also used the lovely Brightest Glow and Christmas Lights stamp sets.  I used Shimmery White cardstock which I then spritzed with water and swooshed Navy ink across using a waterpainter.    I stamped the stars using Starry Sky ink and also flicked some extra water over the background to blur some of the stamping. Under the greeting is one of our gorgeous snowflakes, and I've added adhesive stars for the finishing touch.

Inside the card is relatively simple but still used the same stamp sets.

UP next is the amazing Peta.  Make sure you keep hopping to see everyone!

Feel free to join in the fun with us on our Facebook page here.

Scrapbooking Your Way - Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to our monthly Scrapbook hop with this amazing international bunch of Scrapbookers using Stampin' Up! products.

This month, we have total creative freedom for our theme - easy peasy!!

I'm showcasing a new Suite coming in our Jan to April Mini Catalogue - the By the Bay Suite.

It works perfectly with our coastal lifestyle where we live - but these photos are taken near my Mum's place at Elliott Heads near Bundaberg Queensland Australia.

I've also combined the Chic lattice die cut using the gold metallic paper.  The Clam Shells were all die cut from some Brushed Metallic paper.

The title and all the journaling labels come from the Potted Succulents dies.

Check out these gorgeous flat pearls available in this new catalogue in January.

All of the shell images were coloured using Stampin' Blends.

Up next is the wonderful  Jill whose pages are always amazing.
