Tasty Trucks for CTC#117 Sale-a-bration Pgs 12-15

Welcome to another Sunday Night Blog Hop for CASEing the Catty where we are CASEing (Copy And Share Everything) from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue this week.

We are highlighting pages 12 - 15, and this includes the totally cool Tasty Trucks stamp set!!  It has so many different options - cup cakes, ice creams, hot dogs, tacos, pancakes, flags and burgers.  Total yumminess overload!!

I've chosen to CASE the above piccy featuring the 3 yummy trucks, and this week has been a week for the double z fold for me, and so, my card is a combination of both!!

I've coloured and cut out my little trucks so they look a little like they are driving along the road, past the lovely trees and brick wall.  I added in some cute flags as per the original card and coloured them.

This is a fun card to celebrate almost any occasion!!

It's time now for you to hop along to the great project from Rachel who has created the sweetest card!!

Inspiring Succulents CTC#116

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop!
This week we are CASEING the Occasions Catalogue - pages 20 - 31 which is the Succulent Garden Suite.

Image may contain: plant

See that GORGEOUS clock there on the right of the photo?
That's my inspiration this week!!

You can see that the colours are the same as the stimulus photo, but the stamps and images are different.

And, to reflect that beautiful clock, I've stamped a round image using the Delicate Details Sale-a-bration stamp.  I've done this by gently curving the lace image and stamping it 8 times to create a large circle.

Because I don't own the Succulent Garden Suite (yet), I've improvised and adapted - using the large floral image from So In Love which is featured in the Occasions Catalogue, and the Flower Flair framelits for the die cut shapes,  A few extra leafy images from Flower Patch complete the embellishment cluster.

The designers for the catalogue image have created a rainbow of colours (inspired by the Succulent Garden DSP).  I think this is such a lovely arrangement and I have continued the same theme in my project.

My page title comes from Flower Patch and the so so useful Brushwork Alphabet stamp set - LOVE this set, and I use it to personalise SO MANY projects!!

Now it's time for you to continue your hop along through the great design team!  Up next is the talented Rachel and her beautiful Mediterannian Moments card.

Fun with Saleabration for SUO Challenge #168

What has been your favourite product from our awesome offering during Saleabration this year?

I have to admit that I really have lots of favourites, but, this gorgeous Inside the Lines DSP is certainly so versatile and useful!!

For our challenge over at SUO (Stampin' Up! Only Challenges) we are sharing some wonderful Saleabration fun with you!!

I'm on the team at SUO!

I've decided to colour some of the floral elements in my DSP using the glorious gold Wink of Stella brush - which was super easy to do - but WOW, does it pack an impact!!!

This has been paired with some sparkly gold shimmer paper, and gold thin ribbon to give it the full gold experience!!  The greeting has been cut using the Mini Treat Bag thinlits, and mounted onto the marvellous Stitched Shapes framelits, and a scallop circle from the Layering Circles framelits.

What do you think of all that gold - isn't it stupendous!!

Now be sure to head on over to our challenge and enter in your wonderful Saleabration fun creations - we look forward to seeing your lovely projects as you join in the fun!!

So Very Much CTC#115 - Saleabration Love

Hello and Welcome to another fun and inspiring Sunday Night Blog Hop!

This week, we are featuring our stupendous Saleabration Catalogue, and in particular, we are CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) from pages 8 - 11.
And I've been inspired by the projects on page 8 AND 9, and my creation is a mish mash of several elements of these projects.

First:  I wanted to use So Very Much - that gorgeous big thank you in particular....
Second:  I wanted to dabble with the Delicate Details stamp with the lace trims,
Third:  I really love this gorgeous card that features the lovely lace framework on the right below.
So that's where I started,
BUT,
the 'thank you' image is way way too big for this lovely layout and then the
lace trim frame was  NOT successful
AND
When I put it together, it covered ALL of the gorgeous Falling in Love DSP
- so that  was not going to work .....
(my piece of DSP is now waiting for another project).

So back I went to the page 8 images and used the quick and easy card on the right as my starting point -
and my compromise was to use the lacy bits on the side, and just frame the thank you.
It looked a bit plain, so I added some texture with the Hexagon dynamic embossing folder and a little wrapping of the Saleabration gold Metallic Ribbon

What do you think?
After all that evolution of creation, I'm rather happy with the final result
- but that could be the result of lots of angst and trial and effort, and I was just totally happy to have a card at the end of the journey!!!
(smile teehee)

Now, you get to see the oh-so-beautiful card created by Mel - just click on the 'next' button to see the awesome work of the design team as you jump, hop and skip around our blog hop.!!

High Tide for Colour INKspiration $003

Hello and Welcome to our 3rd Colour Inkspiration challenge!!
This time, we have this beautiful seascape full of divine colours!!

No automatic alt text available.
The colours are:  Marina Mist, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Suede, Whisper White and Soft Sky.

And I've taken my inspiration from that teeny little tile in the very middle.

I used the simple images from HighTide - birds flying and some spinifex grasses.  I used a little peekaboo peach to sponge around the central panel, and the soft sky to sponge the larger panel.  There is no greeting as I wanted this card to be very simple and quiet - like the scenery in the centre - created by tearing a strip of peekaboo peach on top of a couple of hand cut strips of marina mist and soft sky.

The final embellishment is a couple of soft sky enamel shapes in the corner.
What do you think?  This card reminds me SO MUCH of our favourite camping spot on the beach - so serene and special.

It's time now for you to hop along to the lovely Elizabeth and her gorgeous project.

And remember to jump on board with our facebook challenge group and join in the fun!!  Make sure you use all the colours in your project and add your photo in the gallery.  We look forward to seeing you there!!
