Amazing Family

Once again another CASE from the Seasonal Catalogue - this time from page 7. I have changed the colours a little - the recipient of this card is not a pink person and she loves our soft greens.

Extra embellishments include the two tone ribbon, and some Old Olive organza ribbon.

CASE Seasonal Catalogue

CASE - Copy and Share with Everyone - is a great way to get new ideas for projects.  This card features on page 24 of the Seasonal Catalogue and features the lovely Soda Pop Tops and the Collage Curios stamp set.

The Soda Pop Top has been through the big shot in between the cutting plates - just to squash it a bit so it is flatter on the card - I love this effect!!  Other accessories I have used are the Paper Doilies, some Old Olive Organza ribbon, the spritzer and the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

Cross my Heart

I just love Pool Party, and this darling little card looks so sweet with the white and a little Midnight Muse just for the stamping.

The Sale-a-bration ribbon and button coordinate beautifully  and I have used some of the Delicate Design lace tape along with the Delicate Design Embossing Folder.

Hope you like it!!

Blue Feeling Sentimental

More of the same but different!!  This time I have used Midnight Muse for my colour and then sponged a paper doily as well to give another antique look to my cards.

Vintage Feeling Sentimental

You who know me, will know I love the neutral colours - and this stamp set works beautifully in such a colour scheme.    I have stamped onto First Edition DSP and then tore and sponged my piece to age it.

A few brads and some linen thread for some accents - along with the title.  This layout is inspired by the beautiful work of Rachel Greig.

My Birthday

Recently it was my birthday, and lots of my friends and family (knowing I am a lover of handmade cards) have given me some divine cards!!

I feel so blessed to have such thoughtful and wonderful friends and family.

They were all so lovely I just HAD to share the wonderful creativity with you.

All of the cards reflect the extra thought these people have made to include something I like on their card for me.

Some have thought about my favourite colours, and others, about some of my favourite products and embellishments.

All this wonderfulness in handmade cards is why I just love the whole idea of creating something so beautiful for someone else - truly a gift from the heart.

Lace and Ephemera

This month at Just Add Ink - the challenge is to Just add Lace and Ephemera and oh, what a wonderful challenge!!!  I love all these gorgeous embellishments soooo much!!  This page is for my Sister, and we often do some scrapbooking to give to each other - so I have done two identical pages for this one - on for her and one for myself!!

I have used the Artisan Embellishments Kit for my two pages - along with some of the Tea Time Trinkets, Paper Doilies, Designer Builder Brads and some flower trim.

The stamp sets I have used are:  Amazing Accent, Oh, Hello, and Hello Doily.

I used the cardboard from the Artisan Embellishments Kit to make my tags using the Two Tags Die and the Big Shot which I then stamped and sponged.  The card piece that had the lace wrapped around it in the Artisan Embellishments Kit is used for my journaling piece.

Extras include some Two-Tone Ribbon, Natural Trim Ribbon, Basics Designer Silver Buttons, Large Pearls, Little Leaves Sizzlit and Delicate Doilies Sizzlet for the Big Shot.

Sycamore Street folding cards

These little lovlies are a fun card to do as they open out into a bigger card on the inside - giving you lots of room to write lovely thoughts to the recipient!!!

I have used the new Sale-a-bration paper - Sycamore Street and the coordinating ribbon and buttons!  This is fun and happy paper with lots of great colours!!

The greetings for the cards come from Perfectly Penned and Wacky Wishes.

And I have used the butterfly punches (small and large) and the tiniest scallop circle punch for extra little embellishments.

And inside the card so more great stamping using Bloomin Marvellous - one of the stamps you can earn FREE during Sale-a-bration!!

Valentines Day Card

I was so inspired by this card from the Stampin' Up UK team (click here to see it) that I made another - but in different colours.

My card is Night of Navy and Pool Party with some silver glimmer paper, and the lovely two toned ribbon as the feature in front.

Once again, I'm using That's the Ticket - I think this may be a favourite!!  The little heart comes from Itty Bitties.  The large heart is cut out from the Hearts a Flutter framelits.

River Rock scrapbooking

I was inspired by the lovely colours in the card made by Heather at our recent get together - see it in the previous post - the colours were Island Indigo and River Rock, and I thought they looked so great together that I've made a scrapbooking page with them as the basic colours - and with some highlights provided by Summer Starfruit and Rich Razzleberry.

Once again I have loved using some of our new stamps from the New Seasonal Catalogue - check it out by clicking on the image on the side bar.  Stamp sets this time are: That's the Ticket, Cross My Heart, Hearts a Flutter, and then also the Sale-a-bration Stamp Set Pretty Petites along with the coordinating Petite Curly Label Punch.

I have also used the lovely Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack, as well as the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper -also some of our gorgeous Sale-a-bration rewards for any purchases of $100.

A couple of extra supplies are: bakers twine, the ticket builder punch, the Hearts a Flutter framelits, Itty Bitty buttons, Linen thread, and the Honeycomb embossing folder - which I have inked with Island Indigo ink and the stamped onto my River Rock cardstock to give a lovely subtle image in the background.

It's so easy and quick to stamp and punch with these coordinating products, and the images all work so well with the designed series paper too!!
