Into Island Indigo - and 2 Scrapbook Pages!!!

Island Indigo is such a fun colour don't you think?  I love it's vibrancy AND I love all the colours that coordinate with it in such a wonderful array of blues - Bemuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, and even some Pool Party for a really light contrast!!  These two pages are my tribute to the beauty of Island Indigo and friends!!

I have used the Coastal Cabana Core-dinations paper and sanded it to reveal the light core, along with the Regals buttons, and the Coastal Cabana frilled ribbon.

The new chevron ribbon in the Island Indigo is awesome too!!  You can also see a new little Island Indigo candy dot put onto a brad base - cool hey!!

My stamp set of choice is the Six Sided Sampler with all its fun designs in all of the colours for a wonderful arrangement of blue hues!

And in my love of Island Indigo and friends, I couldn't stop at one page!!!  Same colours but a different page - these colours are sooo versatile and fun!!

This time I have made flags with the Chevron ribbon, and mounted them on a little panel accented by Rhinestone Jewels and a Subtle Button.

Again the frilled Coastal Cabana makes a cute little feature on the title.

This gorgeous flag is a CASE from the Stampin' Up! catalogue on page 125 - this was my actual inspiration for the page - and I nearly called the page - My Dad, My Star!!

Stamp Sets used for the page are Simply Stars, Off the Grid, and Oh Hello for the chevron patterned stamped down the side.  I'm so happy with how my pages have turned out, and I think they work really well for the challenge at Just Add Ink this month to Just add a Monochromatic colour scheme!!

Gorgeous Grunge

Grunge in gelato colours?  Who would have thought that grunge would look so cool in such fresh and fun colours!! This is Robyn's card from our recent get together and she has CASED it from our convention - she added an extra tweak with our handmade clay button in the corner - lovely!

Sonja showed us this lovely envelope which would be a great invitation at our recent Demonstrator get together - this is a gorgeous idea and also a great way to show off our wonderful scrapbooking papers - as it shows off both sides of the paper!!

Shop Around Wheel

Love vintage?  This Shop Around Wheel embodies all those vintage advertisements and has some really fun images!  I have coordinated it with Notable Notations and the flowers from Everything Eleanor - and doesn't the crochet trim suit it to perfection?!

Again, I have been inspired by Shelli Gardner our Stampin' Up! CEO - and this postcard is a CASE of one of the cards she showed as at our recent convention.  I used this at our recent get together for a fun project to do together!!  I have coordinated the postcard stamp with Postage Collection hostess stamp and with the rotary date stamp.  Gorgeous Grunge also features for the colour splatters.  I have used some washi tape too!!

Sketched Birthday

How cute is this little card?!  This was made for a cute little girl for her birthday too!!  Her card had an additional cut out number for her birthday made from silver shimmer paper.

I have used the Mosaic Embossing Folder, Chalk Talk framelits, 1 3/4" scallop punch, Strawberry Slush and So Saffron cardstock, Strawberry Slush ruffled ribbon, and an aqua painter to colour the details.  (with some dazzling diamonds for extra details!!)

Masculine Washi Tape

Another very simple card for a guy - just using Washi Tape, a button and linen thread, and a greeting - from Express Yourself.  The background card is Sahara Sand, and the tape is the Epic Day Washi Tape.  This card has been inspired by Shelli at convention.

Just Add Water

At our recent Convention I was seriously inspired by Paula Dobson and her amazing technique of the Bouncing Brayer which you can see here on her Blog - Stampinantics and I have been looking for a project to use this on that is easy enough for me to do!!  Yesterday at our group meeting, one of my friends, Sonja showed me a card with this little bird and posts on it that totally inspired me!!   So..... here it is - my attempt at the Bouncing Brayer Technique - and it is PERFECT for the challenge a Just Add Ink this week which is to Just Add Water - click here and see some other amazing variations on this theme!!

I have used the two step bird punch, the woodgrain embossing folder, the greeting comes from Sweetly Framed hostess stamp set, and the colours are:  Soft Sky, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry for the sun on the water.  My final embellishment is the button made with the Simply Pressed Clay!!

Label Love Masculine Card

Needing a masculine card?

Here's a great idea that is quite simple but very effective nonetheless.

I have used a few of the old and some of the new on this masculine card!  I'm a big fan of the neutrals colours, and this is a great colour scheme for a guy.    Old goodies I have used are the spotted ribbon, the neutrals button and the tulle in the background.

New goodies are the Label Love stamp set with it's coordinating Artisan Label punch, the Honeycomb embossing folder, the Modern Medley DSP and the Epic Day This and That Washi Tape.  I have also used the Remember This and That Rotary Stamp on the envelope!

Gift Tag

Label Love has a greeting for every occasion!!  Here I have used it on a little gift tag to attach to a friend's birthday pressy!!  I had a great time making this quick and simple tag - with Old Olive and Pink Pirouette.  I have also used a little button, and Little Labels Punch Pack and the needlepoint border embossing folder.
