Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.
Tonight you get to enjoy our amazing CASEING the CATTY blog hop. To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty!)

This week, we are CASEING the Sunflower Fields Suite - and I have used the colours of the Suite as my starting point. They are: Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight and Golden Glow.
I used ALL of these colours to paint ink using a waterpainted onto the fabulous Detailed Wreath Accents. The description on the website is:
Add a nature-inspired focal point to your handmade projects with the Detailed Wreaths Accents. This set includes precut wreaths and accents in a variety of styles that match the seasons, like spring flowers, autumn leaves, winter branches, and more. Perfect for cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafts, these versatile wreaths come in a neutral white so they can be personalised with Classic Stampin’ Ink, Stampin’ Blends, or your favourite colouring techniques.
And I agree wholeheartedly with this description!!
I left the wreaths in the die cut sheet and then coloured away with messy strokes, blending and leaving white space.
After the whole sheet was painted and then dry, I popped out each of the die cuts and then started adding colour to all of the wreaths.
It was easy to add the flowers using mini glue dots and layering all the flowers around the wreaths.
I know they look somewhat messy, but I do love that look (to me it says ARTISTIC!! teehee)
Up next is the extraordinary Peta

Love how you used the wreaths as name labels, Julia. They are so pretty and the recipient gets to use them as an embellishment later!
