Some favourite stamp sets!! CTC#228

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEing the Catty.

To CASE means to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit which is what we do to share our inspiration for the great projects illustrated in our Stampin' Up! catalogues.

With our current catalogues retiring in just 3 weeks, we are CASEing some of our favourites.  This week the challenge is to CASE a favourite retiring Stamp Set.  There are many stamp sets from my stash that will be retiring at the end of this catalogue, and I've used 2 of them in my project today.

As you might know, I'm on a scrapbooking journey at the moment, so my CASE has been used as a feature on my page.

I've been inspired by the lovely white embossing onto the Wood Textures DSP that is featured in the card at the top of this picture on page 227 showing off the Hostess Stamp Set Pressed Flowers.

You can see (hopefully) my CASE of this card as the journaling feature on the bottom right of my page.

I've continued this theme of white embossing on Early Espresso around the rest of my page too.

These Early Espresso stitched rectangles are actually the left overs from the Scrapbooking page I featured last week on CASEing the Catty!!  (no waste here!!!)  You can see that page here.

The title for my page comes from another of my favourite retiring stamp sets - Incredible Like You. This was just perfect for a page featuring our children. It is stamped onto one of the die cut shapes from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.

There are some great words in this stamp set that work just perfectly for scrapbooking!!

The background DSP for my pages comes from the Floral Romance DSP which makes the page quite full and busy, but hopefully the neutral tones of the wood textures DSP and the Early Espresso calm down the busyness a bit!!  Having 4 photos on a page is guaranteed to make a page full too!!  But all the photos were so gorgeous, I just HAD to  use them all!!

Up next on our awesome blog hop featuring retiring stamp sets is the lovely Rachel!!  You will love her project!!

We would really love to see your CASE of a favourite retiring stamp set too!!  Just add your project made this week to our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time

Happy Stamping,

Love Julia   x

Bright and Pretty Colour INKspiration #55

Hello and Welcome to our blog hop and challenge celebrating Colour!!

We find our inspiration from Pinterest.....

and the colours this time are:  Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate.  The challenge is to use 3 or more colours.

I've managed to squeeze in all of the colours, by using Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, Flirty Flamingo and Rich Razzleberry to colour my floral spray from Very Vintage (hostess stamp set) using WaterColour Pencils.  The Grapefruit Grove was used to stamp the gorgeous little bees, and Smoky Slate was featured for my card base.

My card has been inspired by Shannon Kissane and her fun card!!  Head to her blog to see details and measurements for this card.

The beauty of this card is that it folds flat for postage.

Look at this glorious soft velvet Rich Razzleberry ribbon!  It feels so lovely to touch.

Up next for our fun hop with these gorgeous colours is  Rebecca and her sweet baby card.

We'd love you to join in the fun with us too!!  Create a project a project using 3 or more of these colours and add it to our facebook challenge page.

Until Next Time

Happy Stamping,

Love Julia   x

An Amazing Bundle til it retires!!! CTC#227

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEing the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything - and that's what our challenge blog is all about as we share our inspiration from the amazing treasures in our Stampin' Up! catalogues!!

This month is the last month of our current catalogues and  we are beginning a series of CASEing our retiring favourites - this week, we are sharing our favourite retiring Bundle.

My project features the Amazing Life bundle - consisting of the Amazing Life stamp set and the coordinating Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.

This bundle is currently available with a 10% discount (only until the end of May), but in our new Catalogue, the stamp set will NOT be available, while the Rectangle framelits will be carrying over.

My scrapbook page features a CASE of the card on the right of the photo on page 28 which I am using as my title for the page.

I've continued the framed theme throughout my page using those fantastic Rectangle framelits to create frames for my photos and the featured greetings in the same stamp set, as well as the date.

These little flowers make such a gorgeous extra touch on the page!  I've coloured them using Stampin' Blends and fussy cut them out.

I think my favourite stamps from this set are the super cute scrolls used on the corners of the frames - what a lovely and subtle addition!!  CASEing is such a great way to see the little extras in the projects featured in our catalogues!!

Make sure you keep hopping to see all the awesomeness featured in our favourite retiring bundles!  Up next is Tina's stunning Dream Bundle.

We'd love you to jump in too and add your project inspired by your favourite retiring bundle from our Catalogues!  You are always welcome to add your  new project inspired by this week's theme to our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time,

Happy Stamping,

Scrapping for our Challenge CTC#226

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEing the Catty.

To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit or to Copy And Share Everything - and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) which offer an amazing array of inspiration and creativity.

This week we are CASEing a layout.  This can be a card layout, or a photo layout or any sort of layout really.  I've been on a scrapping spree - so I'm CASEing a scrapbook layout!!

I've been inspired by this gorgeous project on page 38 of the Annual Catalogue which uses the stunning Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut DSP.

When I first saw this project, I knew I wanted to CASE it, so I'm thrilled I've finally done it!  (This was one of the projects that I wrote a note next to so that I remembered to do it!!)

My page features the Big Plans Memories and More cards, as well as the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit for the cute labels and paperclip.

This made my page quicker to put together!!

My stamped greeting comes from Dandelion Wishes combined with the awesome Well Written Framelits Dies - all featuring Calypso Coral.

The sweet little floral die cuts are also from these super useful framelits too!

I've also featured some of the great wooden Frames Elements for a bit more texture.

I've coloured these with my Calypso Coral marker.

I loved making this page - and this is a brilliant layout that could be used in so many ways!!  It could easily be translated into a sweet card featuring a lovely stamped image instead of the photos.

Now it's time to hop along to see some more amazing layout inspiration with Rebecca and her lovely project!!

Our challenge this week is a super easy one so I hope you'll join in with us too!!  It's easy to add your photo to our facebook challenge page.

Until Next Time,

Happy Stamping,

Love Julia   x
