Just Add Ink Sketch challenge

JAI Scrap October

This month for the Scrapbooking Challenge at Just Add Ink, we have a sketch which I have adapted quite a lot as it has turned out!!!  Click here to see the lovely pages done by the design team!!

The top half of my page is stamped with the Silver Encore pad and the Festive Flurry stamp set - this is the copy of the use of patterned paper at the top of the challenge sketch.  I stamped with the Silver again with the splatter from Gorgeous Grunge - this looks like the challenge sketch a bit more!!

The flowers from the sketch design I have converted into the Festive Flurry framelits shapes cut from the Silver Shimmer Paper - I first cut the 2 biggest shapes and THEN I put the 2 smallest shapes inside my large snowflakes and cut them AGAIN so that I now have 4 snowflakes from the same amount of paper!!  Cool Hey!!  I think they look great with the snowflake holes cut out of the middle of the larger shapes!!

The title panel I have also adapted from the original sketch - to put it below the photo and then another snowflake onto the flag at the bottom.  I also added the date stamp in Silver too.  My little features on the snowflakes come from Very Merry Tags stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

So I DID use the sketch to guide me with my page but........ it seems to have taken on a life of its own!!!
