My New Year has started well with some GORGEOUS NEW GOODIES from our Sale-a-bration and Occasions Catalogues - and they go LIVE for you tomorrow - yippeee!!
So, over at Stampin' Up! Only Challenges (SUO) we are celebrating together with our wonderful newbies - and showing off some great new projects and ideas too!!
This is my entry for our current challenge - NEW YEAR, NEW GEAR - featuring Cool Treats stamp set, and Frozen Treats framelits.
With all those great reminders on fb for birthdays, I like to wish everyone a "Happy Birthday with a cherry on top" - and so, it's about time I created a card with just that! A cherry on top!! And it's sitting on top of a yummy yummy sundae!!
I've stamped and cut the sundae bowl, and all the drippy toppings as well as the star of the show - the cherry!! The scoops of icecream were punched with the 3/4" circle punch. I've used the fabulous fine tip glue pen to add cross hatching to the bowl, and made the toppings shiny (they have some dazzling diamonds on them too - so shiny and glittery!!). The whole yummy dessert is mounted onto a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and then a scallop circle from the layering circles framelits. Finally I added another scallop circle for the front of the card, so the yumminess peeks through!!
