Hello and Welcome back to SUOC - using Stampin' Up! Only products for our challenge projects!!
This time the challenge is for Anything Winter!!
Here on the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland Australia, we are having an awesome mild Summer at the moment, and so I've created a card which I think is wintery!!
I loved this stamp set as soon as I saw it! It is called Best Catch and there is also a set of 9 coordinating dies called Catch of the Day - so you can get them both in a bundle and receive a 10% discount - how fabulous is that!!
My husband is a happy fisherman and I love this image of the fish jumping. It was so much fun to colour and blend with the Stampin' Blends! I used light Pumpkin Pie, light Mint Macaron, and light Call Me Clover Blends.
My background watery image was created with a wash of Pacific Point and Blueberry Bushell. I also stamped some water lines with Whisper White Craft Ink and a stamp from the High Tide stamp set. The card is an easel card so that the lovely fish can be easily shown off!!
