Tonight I'm joining in with the Colour INKspiration crew and our awesome colour combination!!
What a delicious looking cake!!!!
The cake was my starting point so I am using a New stamp set from our September Catalogue starting next week called Lovely Celebration. It was perfect for this image with the lovely cake stand and all the yummy cake extras.
I've added some Shimmery Embossing Paste to the top of the cake - my icing of the cake is not very flash (the same as when I bake a REAL cake too!!) but it does give the card some fun texture!!
I also love love love the gorgeous stripey glimmery paper for the background - it takes the ink blending like a dream!! It's called Shimmering Stripes specialty paper.
I've stamped and coloured the stand onto Soft Seafoam cardstock, and the cake I stamped onto Fresh Freesia cardstock - it's a great way to get awesome colour!!
