Two Tone Flora CASE CTC#408

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to  CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues!!  (catty)

This week, we are CASEING from the bundles chapter of the Mini Catalogue, and I've been inspired by the Two Tone Flora Bundle project illustrated on page 83.  (Mainly because I really needed an excuse to use that gorgeous full front die!!)

I've die cut some of the Fine Shimmer paper using the die and then layered this over the B side of one of the lovely Fancy Flora paper - but now looking at the image in the catalogue in way more detail than when I created my project - I can see they've used the die cut as a template to do some sponging!!  Oops didn't notice that before!!

I really like the layout, but changed up the flowers a bit because I really did NOT want to cover up very much of the gorgeous shimmer die cut!!  All of these supplies are in the whole Fancy Flora Suite.  I've only added some lovely seam binding ribbon and iridescent pearls.

The inside of the card features the same papers and some stamping using Petal Pink, Soft Succulent, and some Pale Papaya.

Up next is the awesome Peta and her amazing coloured card - so dynamic!

Framed Florets fun fold! Colour INKspiration #138

Hello and Welcome to our fun fortnightly Colour Challenge!!

The colours are inspired by amazing images and then converted to the Stampin' Up! colours.  The image this time comes from one of the team members - and isn't it brilliant!!

One of my gorgeous birthday cards featured this fabulous fun fold - so I just had to use it as my starting point for my card.  I've featured the gorgeous Framed Florets and the coordinating Decorative Borders stamp sets.

I stamped using Basic Gray and then coloured al the images using Stampin' Blends in the feature colours.

I love the way this card opens in a little concertina of gorgeousness!!

The card base is actually the usual size, but then I've scored it at 5.5cm, 8cm, 13cm and 15.5cm and then folded into a concertina. My daffodil delight cardstock pieces are each 7 x 14cm for the first two panels and then 5 x 14cm for the back one.  They are only adhered on half of the piece to create the lovely panels.  Doesn't it look lovely!!  I think I might try this one with some gorgeous designer papers.

My final touch was to colour some Iridescent Pearls using the Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blend and scatter them around the card.  Pretty!!

Check out all the amazing creations using these colours on our page here!

Sale-a-bration Challenge for CTC#407

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This is the last week that we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration catalogue - there's only 1 more week to go to grab an awesome bargain from this great promotion!!

My card was inspired by the front of our catalogue - and also by the super divine Dainty Flowers paper which is SO EASY to use for cardmaking.

I've actually CASED this fun fold from a card I received for my birthday recently from the lovely Tracy

It's a brilliant way to show off both sides of this glorious Dainty Flowers paper.  My base card is Starry Sky which looks great with the Blushing Bride of the paper - both of these colours are part of the ones listed for this paper on the back of the pack - such a great resource!!

The card works as a fun double card fold and I love how it is so easy to create!!  This was one of our cards for our Retreat Day yesterday - an amazing fun day with 21 gorgeous crafty ladies!!

The only stamping on this card is the greeting on the front which comes from the coordinating Dainty Details stamp set.  I've added a Starry Sky bow in the corner and some glorious Pastel Sequins which make the card so pretty (and easy to create!!)

Up next is the amazing Michelle.
