Little Purse

Isn't this just the cutest little handbag!!  On the top of mine I have used a little doily, some pearls and a spray of shimmer mist - the darker bag uses the Natural composition paper which I sponged with Cajun Craze ink to highlight the embossed image on the paper - I'm loving how these have turned out!!

Clear Block Stamping

One of the techniques I learnt at our recent Stampin' Up! Event was clear block stamping - here I have used some re-inkers to put ink onto a baby wipe - colours are So Saffron, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Bravo Burgandy.  The wipe is then swiped over a clear block and then stamped onto the paper to create atmospheric backgrounds!!

 Super easy and quite effective!!

Name Badge

For our Heartfelt Event, we made our own name badges - and this is my creation from the various bits and pieces left on my desk from other creations!!  The Central panel was one of my practice pieces for the Faux Patina technique, and the little doily was left over from another project, the top note an excess too from one of my classes - this was fun to make, and I'm glad my name only has 5 letters to cut out by hand!!

Candlelight Christmas

This is page features the lovely Candlelight Christmas paper and highlights the gorgeous window sheet paper in this pack - I love the flocking on the design.

We did this page at a recent class - it uses lots of little flags, and the design I have used before here on my book week page

make and take samples

These are my make and take samples from the Brisbane Heartfelt Stampin' Up! event - which all use the Clockworks stamp set - which has wonderful background elements as well as the lovely fob watch and clock face.
We made a great little set of gift cards in a vellum envelope,

and this cute little gift box filled with tiny little gift cards,

and a scrapbook page - 8" x 8"

and a lovely note book cover.

here are the gift cards inside their little vellum envelope.

All these projects were gorgeous, and the colours are: basic grey, gumball green, coral calypso, more mustard, and pool party - such lovely colours and I would never have put them together.

Baby Girl card

Now for something completely different!!
Paper:  pretty in pink, white naturals
Ink:  pretty in pink
Stamps:  Baby Prints
Extras:  Primrose petals satin stitched ribbon, tasteful trim die for the big shot, lace brocade embossing folder

Musical Christmas

This little card was inspired by two different challenges.  At SUO Challenges,  we are asked to enter #58 A Clean and Simple Holiday Card and at Just Add Ink, the brief is Just Add Music and so this quick little card has both!!  I have used the Music Paper from the specialty designer series paper - Natural Composition which I then lightly sponged with Whisper White craft ink to highlight the music notes a little more.

I used the Holiday Framelits to create the little tree on the front, and inside the card is one of the pennants from the Perfect Pennants die which I then embossed with the Petals-a-plenty embossing folder.  I gave the texture a little bit of a sponge with champagne shimmer mist to highlight the sponging a little too.

To finish off I stamped a greeting from Curly Cute in Gumball Green Ink, added a few rhinestone jewels, and some satin stitched Gumball Green ribbon.  Voila!

Heartfelt Event

Last Saturday I went to a wonderful day of inspiration, sharing and creativity.  It was the Stampin' Up! heartfelt event - and it was wonderful.  There were so many amazing projects and creations to see and learn about!!  These are just some of the best photos from the day..... I do hope you enjoy them and you are inspired too.....

Shaneen Moncreiff did a beautifiul demonstration on using Floral Flourishes in cardmaking and scrapbooking..     and I was soooooo inspired - I'm looking forward to trying some of her amazing ideas and techniques.

Liz Collette WOWED us all with her extraordinary ginger bread houses - ohhh they were so divine!!  Her use of the Iridiscant Ice embossing powder for the sugary gingerbread was inspired.

Sophie Zadeh again showed us her artistic talent with these wonderful ornament/decorations that surprisingly are quite simple to make (she assured us) but look awesome!!  I love the special surprise use of packaging paper!!

In the product playground we were treated to some incredibly awe-inspiring displays of work from fellow demonstrators - I love this spirit of sharing and heartfelt inspiration we have as part of Stampin' Up!

Jacqui Crouch produced this gorgeous display for the Big Shot display - all coordinating and combined for a beautiful table setting.

This was the spectacular display for the stamping product playground - such beautiful and glorious ideas!

These are some of the awesome gorgeous packaging ideas presented to us by Kirsty Brown - she taught us 4 different bows - can't wait to try them all out!!!

This is one of the display boards in the Product Playground for Wheels - there were some fantastic projects, and all so very elegant! It made me think that I need to start using my wheels a LOT more!!

Some of the fantastic heartfelt gift projects demonstrated for us by Ruth Clarke - inspirational and beautiful ideas - such gorgeous attention to detail.

Wonderful display board of Heat Tool Projects in the Product Playground - so much talent and all so beautifully made - and ultimately so inspiring!!

Elegant Bird Tree Ornament

Another fun tree decoration - this time with the beautiful Elegant Bird die for the Big Shot.  The two wings have been embossed with petals- a-plenty embossing folder, and the body of the dove has been stamped with Delicate Doilies and the Illuminate Ink Pad.  Her eye is a rhinestone jewel and she hangs with some thin taffeta vanilla ribbon attached with a brad underneath the wing so it can't be seen.

Tree Ornament

The very beautiful ornament on the front of the Holiday Mini Catalogue is my inspiration for this little tree ornament.  I have used Tags till Christmas stamp set and the ornament punch to stamp and punch 24 ornaments which are then stuck together individually to make each part of the finished ornament.

Each part is then glued onto a circle at the base, and then the central embellishment glued into the middle to finish off - I've used the Snow Flake die for the Big Shot, a Vintage Faceted button and a large pearl in the centre.  Some of the new cherry cobbler sweater trim acts as a great little hanger for this lovely ornament.

Vintage Swing Card

I loved the idea of Robyn's swing card so much, that I made this vintage copy, using Always Artichoke, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake ink. The design on the outer edges is the Vintage Vogue Jumbo wheel, and the central panel features Rejoicing with You.  A little piece of crumb cake tulle tied around some Artichoke Seam Binding finishes off the front panel.  I've used Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and sponged it to create a Faux Patina effect.

My lovely son was 16 recently, and this is his card I made for him.  I love to do collage cards with lots of texture and I also really enjoy using neutral colours - so this was a pleasure to create.  I'm excited by the use of the crumb cake tulle behind the title panel - it's fun to put something a bit different on a card.

Scallop Christmas Tree

I have had fun copying this cute tree from our current  Holiday Catalogue on page 7 - because I have put the design onto a card, it is by necessity a bit squished up to fit it all in - but doesn't it just look soooo fabulous!!
