Scrapbooking Frames & Flowers DSP for CTC#470

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn

Tonight I'm joining in with the fun CASEING the CATTY.  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING the colours of the frames and flowers DSP.

This week, my creativity went for a little holiday.... so I CASED the paper AND the catalogue imagery featuring this paper straight onto a scrap page.

I think this page is a very different style to my usual - very structured and rigid (that's a symptom of my creativity being on holidays!!  I just couldn't think how else to do this!!)

The background paper is pretty amazing - it has a gorgeous ombre feel in the whole sheet as well as the gorgeous silver foil detail - AND it's in the fabulous colour of the Frames and Flowers paper.

I CASED the tags as they are in the catalogue - and only added some pretty pearls and the journalling using the Lost Lagoon marker.

Oh, and this is different too - the title of the page was created using the Thoughtful Moments hybrid folder - and it's perfect for a scrap page.

I hope you've been inspired by the catalogue (and my easy interpretation of it!!) and I would certainly recommend this great paper with the Frames and Flowers - so easy to use!!

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots more amazingness.

Can you guess my 3 favourite colour?

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today, I'm joining the awsesome Scrapbooking Global group to share some creative inspiration!

Our theme this month is to choose our 3 favourite colours for our Scrapbook page.

sooooooo, did you guess mine?  OF COURSE it would be green!!  Specifically I've chosen Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive - and don't they look AWESOME together!!

I have used a greeting from the Words Ephemera pack which worked perfectly for my title!!  Love that!

And splattering around the background using Stampin' Blends - to make it look artistic!!  lol

This is a great way to use gorgeous papers with the banners!!

The papers are from the Flowering Zinnia's and Delightful Floral Online Exclusives collections.

I hope you're inspired and that you keep hopping all the way around!!

Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.

Today, I'm joining in a blog hop to share lots of GREAT new products from our New Catalogue.

You will really love seeing all the new goodies.  I've decided to create a quick scrapbook page using our NEW ephemera.

The Flowers come in an assortment of colours, so I chose all the same theme - this time the black and white flowers, along with a few images with Wild Wheat for the pop of colour!!

The title for my page comes from the Thoughtful Journey Memories and More cards - I cut the edge pieces off to focus on the title!  I also used 2 Ephemera Labels featuring similar colours.

The background of my pages uses another new product - the So Swirly embossing folder.

Using black and white with the pop of colour made it very easy to add bits and pieces to my page!!  I've also flicked over the background using the Black Stampin' Blend for some more texture and interest.

My final touch is to add a bakers twine bow and some sparkle gems.

Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of amazing projects all along the way!!

Need some Scrapbooking inspiration?

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn

This month our Scrapbook hop coincides with Mothers Day in Australia, so my page is all about my lovely MUM!!

We holidayed at her beach house a couple of weeks ago and I got some great photos of her!

AND I got to play with some lovely new Ephemera which made putting this page together so quick and easy - in fact, I was done and thought.....hmm should I do more?

I've also die cut a couple of extra leaves to add more interest - as well as a bit of background stamping.

Love these little frame ephemera for some journalling!!

I hope this gives you some inspiration!!  Make sure you keep hopping to see LOTS more great ideas!!
