Farewell to the old catalogue CTC#80

Hello again to your Sunday Blog Hop CASEing the CATTY - today being the LAST Sunday of our current catalogues.... so we are sharing some of our favourite retiring products!!

One of my favourites (and there are many!!) was the great Hostess Stamp Set  Happy Birthday Everyone - don't you think it was an awesome set?  It had this gorgeous font AND it can be used for any people or gender - great flexibility in a stamp set!!

I've used the layout of the card on page 3 of the Occasions Catalogue to create my card

- along with some retiring inks - Lost Lagoon (sigh and farewell dear friend) and Mossy Meadow - both paired here with Mint Macaron - what do you think of my colour coordination?
I'm pretty happy with this combination - what a shame I discovered it only the week before 2 colours retire!!!  Silly me!!

The swish behind the greetings comes from Work of Art which is NOT retiring (woohoo), and I've added some candy dots (all retiring, sigh and being replaced by some awesome enamel shapes which look fantastic!!)  The DSP under my central panel comes from the divine Birthday Bouquet - what gorgeous paper this is!!

And if you've been inspired (and I know you would be!!), jump in on the fun and create your project and link it to our monthly challenge using the link below!!

And now, make sure you keep on hopping all the way around the design team because as always we have some great projects to show and inspire you!!

Stampin' Up! English Garden - another wonderful card!!

It's silly really, but I'm looking at all my DSP that are almost used up, and feeling somewhat nostalgic for their gorgeous colours and patterns.  I shouldn't feel sad at their passing, as I know we have some amazing NEW papers coming up in our NEW Catalogue - which goes LIVE next week!!  Woot!!

At the moment though, I'm revisiting our retiring papers, loving them, AND having a marvellous time creating with them.

This is another card for our heat embossing technique class this week!!

Peekaboo Peach Rose Wonder

I enjoyed making this divine Peekaboo Peach with Rose Wonder flower, that I've made another - using DSP and Vellum layers to showcase that wonderful flower!!

If you love colouring in, then, this lovely floral image is for you!!!   Schedule your next Stampin' Up! party with me (especially during June as we have a fantastic promotion for hostesses!), and we could do this card at your place, with all your friends.

Good bye Stampin' Up! English Garden DSP

This paper is just so pretty!!  I made this card for my dear daughter's 22nd birthday recently!!

By the Tide in a shaker card!!

I've created my little fish tank card to the design of the Paper Players challenge this week.  The design team has some awesome inspiration for us!!

I'm using an old favourite in a last wonderful hurrah!!  By the Tide is such a wonderful stamp set and so very versatile!!

We're doing this card in our heat embossing techniques class this week - and also making a shaker card while we are at it!!!

I love the final effect!!  The greeting on the front comes from Thoughtful Banners - one of our new awesome sets AND it has a coordinating punch!!

Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder Wedding Wishes for SUO

We are sharing inspiration for Wedding Celebrations this week for SUO Challenges.  And what a beautiful range of stamps and images we have to celebrate the Bride and Groom.

I'm on the team at SUO!

For my wedding card, I've had a play with some new products for our upcoming catalogue - the delicious Peekaboo Peach Ink and the lovely Copper embossing powder.

I've embossed my image, and then watercoloured with many layers using the ink onto our shimmery white cardstock.  The beauty of the shimmery white is that it will take quite a lot of moisture and water, which allows plenty of layers when painting.  Those little droplets are special too - I've used the gorgeous gold wink of stella brush to highlight the image, and then I flicked the end of the brush with  my finger to create some cute splatters!!

I hope you'll join in the fun with our Wedding Challenge - just head on over to our Challenge Blog using the above link, and then post your own lovely project and link it to the challenge!!  We love to see your wonderful creations!!

Stampin' Up! Swirly Scribbles

Look at these gorgeous new thinlits!!  These are called Swirly Scribbles, and they coordinate with the Swirly Bird stamp set which is stamped in the background.

I made this little canvas postcard as a gift.  The photo has been laminated, and then the swirls adhered over the top, while the stamped images underneath have picked up some of the texture of the canvas - doesn't it look great!!

CTC#79 3D project inspiration

Hello Sunday Blog Hoppers!! This week we are being inspired by any 3D projects in our catalogue!!

I'm loving this little bakers box in the background.  I don't have the bakers box thinlits, but I've made a box,and created the tag detail to look very similar!!

This little project looks so cute in real life!!

Introducing Stampin' Up! Dapper Denim

At our recent Onstage Training day for Stampin' Up! I had the privilege of creating 25 projects using our brand new Incolours for the new Catalogue starting on 1st June.  So, for the next few days I will introduce you to each of these 5 new colours!!

And on my last day, I introduce you to Dapper Denim - when I first saw all these colours, I really think I loved Dapper Denim first and had a great time creating lots of projects with it!!  This exploding card features Number of Years - and I've made LOTS of these cards this year.

Here are some instructions for you - I hope they help you to create an Exploding Box too!!

And with the In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack, I've made an envelope large enough to accommodate my large exploding card.

This little card features another image from the Swirly Bird stamp set - along with some of the delicious Ruched Ribbon and the DSP.

This wonderful Rose Wonder is watercoloured using MANY layers of ink using Peekaboo Peach, and the Dapper Denim is the background colour.  Emerald Envy also features for the leaves.

My final project features From Land to Sea stamp set, and I've used watercolour paper, and again many layers of ink to colour the background.

Mixed Borders sneaky peek from the new Catalogue (shhh)

Some friends and I have done a wonderful swap using some of the new stamp sets and inks we received at our recent training day - On Stage.  This is my contribution!!

I've used Mixed Borders partnered with Writing Notes and a bit of Gorgeous Grunge.
My colours are:  Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzaz and Sahara Sand.

What do you think?
Are you excited to see some more great ideas and projects from the New Catalogue?  I promise I'll have more and more in these next two weeks!!
I hope you enjoy!!

Introducing Stampin' Up! Peekaboo Peach

At our recent Onstage Training day for Stampin' Up! I had the privilege of creating 25 projects using our brand new Incolours for the new Catalogue starting on 1st June.  So, for the next few days I will introduce you to each of these 5 new colours!!

And here is the delightful Peekaboo Peach.

Here's another project I've teamed with Bermuda Bay - and I even made that tassle using the thick Bermuda Bay bakers twine!!

I love this combination of the Peekaboo Peach and Cherry Cobbler with a hint of the white craft ink for the clouds in the background.  My stamp here is Balloon Celebration.

Lots of watercolouring in this card featuring Always Artichoke with the Peekaboo Peach, and also some gold wink of stella pen for the highlights of the flowers from the Helping Me Grow stamp set.

And my last project featuring Peekaboo Peach also uses Soft Suede and Kraft cardstock.
