Mini Catalogue Inspiration CTC#296

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (CATTY).

This week we are presenting a fun challenge!!  We are CASING from page 22 of the Mini Catalogue which shows off this fun way of stepping up a project!!!
My cards feature the gorgeous Life is Beautiful stamp set.

I ended up making 4 cards as I was playing around with ideas.  I've often wanted to do a stepping up project, so today was the perfect time!!  My first card has simple stamping with Rococo Rose and Smoky Slate inks and I've added a few Frosted Epoxy Drops.

My second stepped up card features extra stamping using Petal Pink Ink and I've added a bit of Petal Pink ribbon with some Wonderful Gems.

The third step up features some sponging with Petal Pink ink and our new totally gorgeous Blending Brushes - look for these in our Mini Catalogue and Online Store from the 5th January!!  I've never ever sponged so well before!!  This card also features Silver Foil and some gorgeous Wonderful Gems.

And my last card has the Silver Foil embossed using the Pinewood Planks folder, a bit of Petal Pink ribbon, and an extra stamped element with the cute Bird House.

I just loooove this stamp set - it's called Life is Beautiful!!  It is a Photopolymer stamp set which allowed me to give the tree a lean so it fitted onto my card better!!

Inside all of the cards is some simple stamping.  The first 2 cards don't feature the extra sponging on the inside which make them a little different from the photo above inside the 4th stepped up card.

Up next on this fun hop is the wonderful Rebecca and her gorgeous Christmas Cards!!
Make sure you keep hopping all around everybody, because there are so many amazing and beautiful ideas to inspire you!!

After you've hopped around the whole crew, please feel free to add your project to this challenge on our Facebook Challenge page here!!  We love seeing your wonderful contributions!!

Colour INKspiration #90

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration challenge.

We use some amazing images from Pinterest to inspire creativity and source our colours for the challenge.

This time, the colours are Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock and I loooove the image to inspire us!!
Maybe I'll make some Christmas cards inspired by these soft and delicious colours?

For my contribution this week though, I've used the colours as my starting point for gifts for work colleagues.  The design for this card is a standard upright card with a little w fold stand in the centre - I found a great design here.

I've stamped the lovely flowers from a new stamp set Dragonfly Garden using Pretty Peacock.  The flowers are coloured with Daffodil Delight and Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends.  The flying butterflies were coloured with Pool Party Stampin; Blends.

I've sponged the background with Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight inks with another new product - blending brushes and I can happily say THIS IS THE BEST BLENDING I have EVER done!  I struggle so much when I'm sponging to get a smooth coverage, and these new brushes really give me some amazing success.  Thankyou Stampin' UP!

Inspired by the Page 1 of the Catalogue CTC#295

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) which are full of amazing inspiration.

This week, we are caseing from the first page of our annual catalogue!!  And I really hope you can tell which card started as my inspiration project this week!!

I've often admired this fun layout with the diagonal piece taken out for a fun peekaboo element with a difference!  So this was my chance to try it out..... but I think there could be an easier way to create it.  I've measured and cut using a ruler for this card.

My stamp set of choice was the wonderful Life is Beautiful set and I've used it with Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee ink.

I think the greeting worked well divided into two parts with some in the ditch and a fussy cut element on top!!

Make sure you keep hopping all the way around for lots of amazing inspiration from this first page!!  Up next is the very talented Tina.  Enjoy her project!!

Once you've hopped through everybody, feel free to add your project inspired by this first page to our lineup on our Facebook challenge page.

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to a fun Blog Hop with Scrapbooking Global!!

This is a group of amazing scrappers who share some fabulous inspiration with you!!

The theme this time is Shapes x 9 which was designed by the wonderful Sara.

My page is a very BASIC interpretation of this theme!!  I scored my page into 9 x 4" squares and then added some stamping and paper with the photos over the top!!

With our new Mini and Sale-a-bration Catalogues coming in January, I've had a play with some NEW goodies for this page - a little sneak peek for you!!  My page features a Sale-a-bration stamp set - Corner Bouquet and Sale-a-bration designer paper - Flower and Field. I've also used the coordinating Art Gallery stamp set with the Floral Gallery dies from the new Mini Catalogue.

The colours for my page are Daffodil Delight in the background, stamping with Granny Apple Green, and photo matts and the greeting cut using Pool Party and Basic Black.  The colours were all inspired by the gorgeous daisy print from the Flower and Field paper as well as the photos themselves!!

To continue the theme of shapes x 9 I've also fussy cut out 9 little daisies from the paper and popped them around the page and my photos.

I wonder what all the rest of the blog hop participants have done with our Shapes x 9 challenge?  Make sure you hop around everyone to see lots of awesomeness!!

Up next is the inspirational Courtenay!!

Here's the list of everybody in the hop in case you get lost on the way!!
