Tonight I'm hopping with an awesome bunch of talented Australian crafters who love sharing with you!! We are sharing projects created with our Product of the Month - so be sure to check out our hop every month to see lots of fabulous inspiration!! Each month the Product of the Month is chosen to tempt you to get your creative juices flowing!! You can easily purchase this product for only $9 when you have a qualifying order of $125!! Isn't that FANTASTIC!!
This month, our Product is the Luxe Foliage designer paper - super glorious foil designs that work for any occasion!
I've used the papers in a fun way creating a starburst design for a background technique. You find the centre of the base card stock along one side and then cover with adhesive and add prepared strips. I cut each of the pieces of designer paper at 3cm x 15cm and then cut them all the same way diagonally. I started from one side and then kept adding strips until the whole card was covered - and THEN I cut the excess paper off every side for the card front panel.
After that, all I had to do was create my focal point - I've used the lovely Simply Leaves stamp set
(pssssssst, here's a scoop! - it's on special at 15% off until tomorrow!!! )
It's not often I create a card without using any white or vanilla cardstock, and the completed effect is really very striking!! My inks are Secret Sea, Peaceful Pine and Pecan Pie - the same as the colours of the glorious paper. And my base cardstock is Golden Glow.
Make sure you keep hopping to see lots of amazing inspiration just for you!
