Stampin' Up! Helping Me Grow Thank You

Sometimes giving a thank you card is important - and we are celebrating Thanks and Thanksgiving at SUO this week.

Helping Me Grow is a stamp set with a couple of gorgeous images to watercolour, and lots of awesome greetings to say thank you!!  I love to watercolour, so this set is a favourite.

I'm on the team at SUO!

This time I've watercoloured onto Shimmery White cardstock, and then I painted around the images and didn't like it (sad face), so I saved my lovely watercolouring by fussy cutting around the blooms and popping them onto dimensionals onto some beautiful DSP from the Serene Scenery Paper Pack.

I threw a bit of gold around to finish off - some splatters with the gold wink of stella pen, gold ribbon bow, gold bakers twine under the main greeting and a few gold enamel shapes.

I hope you've been inspired enough to join in the fun with our Thanks and Thanksgiving challenge.  Just click on the SUO graphic to head on over to our blog and share your lovely creativity with us!

CTC#97 Favourite Holiday Bundle

Welcome to another wonderful Sunday night blog hop with the awesome CTC crew where we inspire you, share with you, and challenge you to CASE the Catty - this week the Holiday Catalogue, and sharing our favourite Bundle - and there are some wonderful choices for everyone and so lots of fantastic projects to share with you this week.

I've been inspired by the Christmas Pines bundle - I love love love the leaves and pinecones in the thinlits, and the stamps in the stamp set are really wonderful!!

Christmas Pines Photopolymer Bundle

The project that has inspired me is  this gift bag (again I'm inspire by a gift bag!!))on the left side of the image on page 18.

I surprised myself when I made this!  I had turned over the doily and central image to adhere the fronds to the back of this panel before placing the whole piece onto the DSP, and when I flipped it over, I discovered I'd change the orientation of the ferney to the other side!!! wooops!!

And now it's time for you to continue hopping around all the amazing projects this week!  Backwards to Kelly's lovely project or forwards to the great idea from Deb.

And if you're inspired feel free to add your link in our monthly challenge!!

Stampin' Up! Star of Light big shot project for CTC#96

Hello and Welcome to another Sunday Night Blog Hop where we CASE the Catalogue and share our inspiration with you!!  This week, we are CASEing the Holiday Catalogue, and in particular
pages 8-11.

For the complete list of the whole design team, you can click here on the graphic, or just keep hopping all the way through the whole design team and see the fantastic projects and ideas offered by all of us.

I've been inspired by this lovely gift bag on the left, and made it into a card.
I've kept to the same layout, only changing a couple of colours.  The DSP under the star comes from This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, and I've coordinated this lovely cherry cobbler with crushed curry.

Now it's time for you to keep hopping all the way through the team - and enjoy!!

Under the Weather for SUO

So how's the weather where you are?  Here is Sunny Queensland we are at the beginning of Spring, and so the days are getting longer and warmer...... YAY!!

I'm on the team at SUO!

We are having fun exploring the weather at SUO Challenges this week!  All sorts of weather, and I've gone for Under the Weather.  This lovely greeting duo comes from the My Hero stamp set which is the lovely Ronald Macdonald House Charities stamp set for this year (so every sale of this stamp set raises money for an awesome charity that provides a home away from home for those who are ill).

I've had to make a few of these in the last week or two - lots of ill friends, who thankfully are regaining their health slowly.

This version of my card features the lovely softly falling embossing folder (for a more textural element of rain), as well as some lovely little extras from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set (last year's RMHC stamp set too!!)

I hope you like my card, and I hope you've been inspired to join in our challenge too with your awesome ideas for projects featuring weather!!

Just add Pinecones........

This week at Just Add Ink, they are having a fun challenge called.....

and the first thing I thought of was to Just Add Pinecones!!
And then my mind wandered, (as it does!) and I noticed my new lovely gorgeous ribbon from my last order - the oh so divine Glitter Ribbon combo pack of sparkly Sweet Sugarplum and Silver ribbons......
So, I thought, well, why not?  And we have Just Add Pink Pinecones!!!
(Just so I could use my new ribbons!!  teehee, silly I know, but so beeeeutiful!!)

My card features Smoky Slate leaves, and Blushing Bride glimmer paper for the pinecones, and the card base is Smoky Slate with Blushing Bride too with the stamping on Shimmery White - so there's lots of sparkly and shine!!!
To finish off, my greeting is all about sparkle too!!  My card makes me smile, and I hope you're smiling too!!

Be sure to check out the great projects from the design team at Just Add Ink and join in the fun too!!

Stampin' Up! Star of Light 3D for CTC#95

Hello and Welcome back to our Sunday Night Blog Hop where we Copy and Share Everything and hopefully inspire you to choose our Catalogues for your creative inspiration.

This week, we are being inspired by our favourite 3D item in the Holiday Catalogue.

And I've gone for this lovely star from the Star of Light stamp set and coordinating framelits.

I've stamped this lovely image first, and then used the framelit to cut the shape around my stamping.

I think used our glorious gold glimmer paper to cut the very fine and detailed central star shape.

There are actually six sides to my ornament - 3 blank, and 3 with the glimmer paper stamped star duo.  The star is hung using the lovely gold bakers twine that comes in a fabulous triple pack of red, green and gold bakers twine - awesome for Christmas!

Now it's time for you to continue hopping all the way around the blog - either back to Krissy, or forwards to Deb - who both do amazing projects so you'll definitely want to hop!!

And when you've been totally inspired, be sure to jump in with our monthly challenge and you can use this link to get there.

You can click here for the complete list of the design team.

And we'll see you again next Sunday night!!
