CASEing the Catty for Halloween CTC#102

Hello and Welcome to CASEing the Catty this Sunday evening - where we Copy And Selectively Edit projects from our Catalogues for your inspiration and creativity.

This week we are being inspired by the Halloween Chapter of our Holiday Catalogue - and I've been inspired by this little scarecrow fellow who is totally adorable!!

And as I don't have that little cutie AND it's my daughter's birthday today - I've completely changed the card BUT kept the same layout featuring some delicious Blooms and Bliss DSP.

And when you embellish the inside of the card, you can use that little piece of DSP sliced off the side - no waste!! What a winner!!

I've paired this lovely paper with Watercolour Wings for the butterfly on the front, and Cottage Greetings for the words.

Now it's time for you to continue your hop onto the next great project we are CASEing from the Halloween chapter!!  And after you've been totally inspired add your project into our gallery for our monthly challenge!!

Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves and Fall Fun at SUO

Over at SUO (Stampin' Up! Only) Challenges this week, we are enjoying some Fall Fun.

I'm on the team at SUO!

Where I live in Sunny Queensland, we don't experience Fall or Autumn in any way as we are surrounded by tropical trees, Eucalyptus, gum and palm trees.
So, this is as I imagine Fall to look - all those glorious browns and golds and falling leaves - I actually often wear clothes in these colours!!!

I've used the lovely Vintage Leaves, and coloured them softly using the clear Wink of Stella pen to give the leaves body and shine.  I've added some of the wonderful leaves from the Flourish Thinlits and a splatter of the gold Wink of Stella pen for extra interest, and this card is on the way to a dear friend whose mother passed last week.

I hope you're inspired to join in the fun this week as we celebrate Fall Fun.  Just add your link to our blog using the graphic above.

Stampin' Up! Fluttering Dragonflies in a card in a box.

I so enjoy making these cards in a box - they are so full of celebration and fun!!

This is an order for a lady turning 70 who loves dragonflies.  The images come from Awesomely Artistic, and Touches of Texture, and the DSP from Blooms and Bliss.

I have also got a great template for you to make your own!!

My favourite Bundle in the Catalogue for CTC#101

Hello to our Sunday Night Blog hop - this week celebrating our Annual Catalogue as we Copy and Selectively Edit (CASE) our favourite bundle in the Catalogue.
And with such an amazing collection of bundles, it was soooooooo hard to choose!!!
Eventually I decided that I've used the Banners  for You  bundle the most - because it's so useful and versatile AND I really LOVE the gorgeous Flourishing Phrases bundle so this little project
on page 78 caught my eye!!

I've changed the colours and created a card and journal gift duo for one of my teenage daughters to give to her friend for her birthday.  The design was so easily adapted from card to Journal Cover!!

I love the use of the beautiful Serene Scenery DSP stack for the background piece - it looks a little like linen behind the doily there.

And I also stamped on every page inside with the lovely Flourishing Phrases greeting and the floral spray.

Now it's time for you to hop on to the next team member and make sure you hop all around the team to see some fantastic projects and ideas!!

And have a go with our monthly challenge too!!  It's wonderful to see your work.

Stampin' Up! Presents and Pines for CTC#100

Welcome to Sunday Night Blog Hopping with the wonderful Holiday Catalogue where we inspire and challenge you by CASEing the Catalogue - Copy and Selectively Edit - the projects in the catalogue for your creative inspiration.  This week, we are sharing from the lovely Presents and Pines Chapter.

And the other exciting new this week, is that this is our 100th hop - how FANTASTIC is that!!!!!

And I've been inspired by this lovely card on the left - which features elements from the Christmas Pines Suite and the Holly Berry Suite.

I really do love those Pretty Pines thinlits and the combination with the holly leaves looks great!!

My card is almost identical to the one in the catalogue - the only difference being that I used the Wonderful Wreath framelit for my central background piece.

And.......
because I love him so much, I just could not resist inking up the old Father Christmas again.  So I've CASED this card from page 23.

My card is a little more washed out looking (I've a feeling it's time to reink my Early Espresso Ink Pad - it's been getting a bit of a workout lately!), but I still love the 'old world' feeling of my card.
Two of my favourite things - watercolouring and vintage.

I've used the very useful White Stampin' Chalk Marker for the beard and fur trim.

Now it's time for you to continue hopping around the team. onto Kelly's cute little tag project, and make sure you visit Lou's blog - our guest designer this week!!

And jump into our monthly challenge too! We love to see your great creations.
