Stampin' Up! sneak peek at Birthday Bright

We are sharing our creativity with Squares, Circles and Ovals this week over at SU! Only Challenges!  So I've pulled out the lovely Stitched Shapes framelits which will be available in our new catalogue!    This is quite a retro minimalist card which is actually quite gender neutral - which makes it very versatile for any age and it could be used for males or females.

I'm on the team at SUO!

I've used 2 squares set inside each other to create the frame and the other feature shape.  The greeting is stamped in the smallest oval stitched shape.  The stamping has been done in Cherry Cobbler and I've also used some Cherry Cobbler bakers twine, and an enamel shape.  That lovely patterned paper behind the frame is another sneak peek - it comes from the Falling in Love DSP.

My colours are:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Cherry Cobbler.  This layout would work in many different colour palettes too.
I hope you're inspired to join in the fun for our challenge this week and enter your projects that feature squares, circles, or oval.  Just click on the SUOnly graphic, and add in your entry!

CASEing the favourite!! How many favourites are there? CTC# 109

Hello and Welcome to another Sunday Night blog hopping while we CASE the Catty.

This week, we are CASEING ANYTHING!!!
So, that got me wondering about my favourite projects that are illustrated in our Catalogues ......... and there are LOTS and LOTS.
Basically, (if I am honest), my favourite is the current project or catalogue or stamp set that I'm working on
 - and at the moment I'm creating for Christmas (only 7 more sleeps!!!).

I've made these lovely little star decorations as gifts for co-workers, family and friends everywhere!
They are created using the Star of Light bundle -

I stamped the lovely star image, cut out the shape with the star outline framelit, and then cut the dotty detail using the detailed star thinlit.  It lines up beautifully with the stamped image.  The second layer is gold glimmer paper cut out with the star outline framelit, and then adhered behind the stamped and cut star while sandwiching some gold bakers twine between to hang the little ornament.

This little star is a CASE of the star on the front of the Holiday Catalogue -

and if you follow me, you'll remember that I've CASED this star before in a previous post - here it is below.

This star was far more detailed and fiddly than the one I have created this week as it is a really 3 dimensional project.

The star I've made this week is far simpler AND much easier and quicker to make multiples  AND it's lovely and flat for me to post - so I have lots to give away as gifts!

Which is your favourite?

And what would be your favourite project out of all of our CATALOGUES?

The choices are amazing, AND, you'll see some fabulous projects as you continue your hop throughout the entire design team -
ENJOY and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!

And when you have a minute for yourself in this last week leading up to Christmas - enter your own project into our monthly challenge so you join in the fun too.

If you get lost along the way, feel free to go to our blog to see the complete list of all of the design team.

With love for the Tin of Tags Kit CTC#108

Do you love kits too???  I know I do - they are fun, all the preparation is done so there's no deep thinking, and they are ALWAYS beautiful when they are Stampin' Up! Kits.

Hello and welcome back to our Sunday Night Blog Hop!  This week, the star of the show are our kits!

And I love the Tin of Tags Kit........

which is totally awesome for making tags......

but I've used the tags to embellish some very simple cards.

I've created all the tags as per the kit instructions (so they could be done quickly and easily)

and then used, washi tape, die cut shapes, and DSP to show of those gorgeous little tags.

The variety is unlimited, the cards are quite simple, and yet, they all look great!!

And I've added a few more cards quite quickly to my handmade stash!

I hope you're inspired too!!

Now it's time for you to continue you hop along......

and, jump in with our monthly challenge too!!

An elegant washi tape Christmas

This week at Stampin' Up! Only Challenges, we are inspiring you with our projects featuring Holiday Elegance........ and I though my lovely little washi tape tree fit the bill perfectly!!
This Washi Tape comes from the Tin of Tags Kits, and I had plently left over when I finished the tags to create a few more special projects.
I've embellished with the gold enamel shapes, and some gold foil for the Christmas Greetings thinlits, and little gold bow at the base of the tree.  The stamping comes from Holly Jolly Greetings.

I'm on the team at SUO!

Simply create your project which features some Holiday Elegance, and add it in to our challenge using the link.  We love to see your projects!!

Love a good punch? Check out these awesome projects with CTC#107

Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop where we Copy And Share Everything to inspire you to look again at our awesome catalogues - and this week, we are sharing our favourite punch bundle in the Holiday Catalogue.  I love a good punch, and this project features the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  This punch has that lovely little bow, the berries, and 2 different sizes of the holly leaves.

I've been inspired by a combination of these two cards here!!  I've used the wreath, and added that lovely cluster of all those holly leaves.

After I created the wreath, I then mounted it over the Hearth and Home framelits and some bricks created using the brickwork embossing folder.

Now it's time for you to continue hopping around to see the amazing projects from the rest of the design team by using the following link.

And then you can add your project to our monthly challenge.

If you live on the Sunshine Coast, Qld, Australia, I would be thrilled to do a Stampin' Up! party for you and to feature this bundle - we can schedule it during Sale-a-bration from January 4  to 31 March and you'll earn FREE Sale-a-bration rewards for your party too!!  Why not give it a go!

Suite Sentiments

I made a totally delicious Mango Salad last week - so delicious in fact, that I was asked for the recipe, so instead of a piece of paper, I popped it into a little recipe card!!

I CASED this idea from my dear friend Janine, who sent me this yummy strawberry card!!

This paper just looks good enough to eat!!

And here's the recipe for you too!!
