Very effect Sketch Challenge for CTC#362

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything, or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we have a sketch challenge for you!!

This is a lovely simple sketch!!  I bet you're coming up with fabulous ideas already!!

My card features the gorgeous On the Horizon bundle, and I think all the bits of pieces worked really well.

I've also used these fabulous colours as a starting point for my card - which worked well with my stamp set and dies.

The 'squares' were punched using the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch which made it very easy to quickly put together this card!!

Can you see the extra birds on my card?  These come from the Waves dies.  I've also added a couple of the stunning pebbles.

Up next is the very talented Michelle!!  Make sure you keep hopping all the way around to see some great ideas!!

You're invited to share your projects using this sketch onto our Facebook challenge page.

Only a few more days left for this fabulous special!!  Click here before the sale finishes!!

Colour Challenge Scrapbooking #118

Hello and Welcome to our fabulous Colour Challenge.

This is a fabulous challenge focusing on colours and also inspiration images.

Check out the marvellous inspiration this time!!

These colours are a perfect fit for my scrapbooking page on our last bush walk.  So I found this a very easy and fun challenge this time.

I'm using the fabulous Artfully Layered bundle with it's gorgeous leaf images and some background stamping images too.

There are some other dies added to my page - the Potted Succulents dies were used for my title and journaling panels.  I've also added some texture with the geometric strip die from the Palms dies.

The stamping in Garden Green and Soft Succulent worked perfectly for this stamp set (and my photos!)

All of the photos have been layered with Basic Gray cardstock, which was also used for the fun die cut strips from the Palms die.

This page came together rather quickly as all it really needed was some background stamping and then some die cutting from Soft Succulent shimmer vellum and cardstock.

Animal Inspiration CTC#361

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY!

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues which are FULL of inspiration.

This week, we are CASEING an Animal card in either Catalogue.

My card is inspired by the lovely little chickie card on page 27 of the Mini Catalogue featuring the Easter Friends stamp set.  I have also been inspired by Erin and her slimline card here.

I liked that the chicken card is a slimline card and there is a definite line across the card in between the sky and land.  I like the lovely edge of flowers and the greeting in the top right of the card.  My card ended up being VERY different though!!

I have used the stunning Waves of Inspiration bundle which has been a hot favourite on my desk this week!!  I stamped the wave using Pacific Point and the Stamparatus (this large stamp works really well using our amazing Stamparatus) on one side of my card, and then one of the ground images from Oceanfront with Crumb Cake on the other side of my card.

I've added some of the reeds using Soft Suede and also stamped and die cut my pelican with Soft Suede.  I stamped a bunch of extra posts for my pelican to hop around on!!  The clouds and extra birds were die cut from the Supple Shimmer paper and the waves dies.

I have also added extra colour to my pelican posts with Soft Suede Stampin' Blends.

The inside of my card is a repeat of the front of the card with some extra room for writing to the recipient!!

This will be my card to showcase on my Facebook Live on Thursday, the 24th March at 10am on  Handmade by Julia Quinn!!  See you there.

Up next is the amazing Rachel and her great card inspired by Animals!!

We love to see your awesome creations in our Facebook challenge page - add yours here too!!

Scrapbooking Global Hop - Colour Combo!

Hello and Welcome to our Monthly amazing Scrapping Blog Hop!!

This is a brilliant international group who inspire me so much!!

This month, our blog hop was designed by the lovely Mai, and it is a colour challenge!!

The colours are:  Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink.

My page features the limited time Here Together Suite with it's gorgeous All Together paper and the lovely coordinating stamp set and dies.  I think this bundle is a perfect one to use for scrapping our loved ones. The colours for our theme worked so nicely with this bundle too!!   I was even able to use the Petal Pink & Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to colours the hands which is the same as our very pale skin!!

I've also used some of our fabulous Heart & Home doilies (the misty moonlight one!), linen thread, and a scattering of Polished Dots.

The limited time All Together paper in the background is actually all black and white.  I've sponged three different designs using a blending brush and Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink.  The leaf design was also coloured using Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends for a bit of extra depth to the colour - and I did the same thing with the lovely hand images and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.

I love the greetings in this stamp set, and I think it worked well with the lovely double punched hearts.  The small hearts scattered around the page are from the Here For You dies.

And the fabulous ribbon duo from the New Horizons suite worked perfectly with our colour theme!

I have also used some little peek a boo pieces of Crumb Cake cardstock punched using the Label Me Lovely punch which is layered under some of the trimmed doilies.

I think you should really enjoy our blog hop this month!!!  It will be so amazing to see all the different ways of using these colours to do some scrapping!!!

Up next is the extraordinary Mai who always inspires me!!

If you get lost along the way, here's the list of everybody in the hop.
