Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop with a sketch challenge!

Hello and Welcome to our Monthly Blog Hop sharing amazing Stampin' Up! scrapbooking!!

This is actually in an international group of truely inspirational scrappers - you will love their work!

This month, we have a sketch challenge - and I really DO love a sketch challenge!!  It helps make the page fall together soooooo easily!

Our amazing Courtenay is providing our challenge this month - thank for your this great sketch Courtenay!  I had to change the orientation for the photo mat to accommodate my photos, but other than thank, my layout is exactly the same.

My project features my current favourites (well, the last few projects have used these products!!)

As these are photos from a wedding, my first choice was to use the Splendid Thoughts bundle, and then because I'm using it so much, I HAD to add the Apple Harvest bundle (exclusive this month only), and because it's great for background stamping, I've also used Quiet Meadow.

I've stamped using Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam (you know I love greens!!)  All the die cutting was from the totally GORGEOUS glimmer paper in the Mini Catalogue - I've used the Evening Evergreen and the Vanilla sheets.  So so so pretty.  I've also used one of the Delicate Edge dies for the bottom of my photo mat die cut using the Vanilla glimmer paper.

Do you see the gorgeous circle detail behind the photo?  I cut a circle out of the white cardboard in our designer paper packs, and used it as a stencil to sponge some Soft Succulent and create the circle detail.  It's so soft in the background and I love it!

The title element was stamped in Evening Evergreen using Splendid Thoughts and then I punched it out with the Decorative Circle punch, and sponged the edges using a blending brush and Soft Succulent.  The journaling labels come from one of the dies in the Apple Blossoms dies - they look great!

There's lots of background stamping behind all the die cut elements which give the page lovely depth I think!!  What do you think?  Would you like to create a page using this sketch too?

UP next is our hop is the amazing Cheryl from the UK!!  Enjoy!!

Here's the list of everyone in the hop in case you get lost along the way!!

Tic Tac Toe for Scrapbooking Global Hop - what fun!

Hello and Welcome to our monthly amazing blog hop celebrating Scrapbooking with Stampin' Up! products!

I just love being part of this extraordinary international group and ALWAYS find inspiration every month!

This month Sherry designed a really fun challenge!!  You have to choose 3 items in a row from the Tic Tac Toe board!!  Can you see where I've found my inspiration?

I've gone straight down the middle!!  I've used tags, 3 or more photos and embossing!!

My page features 2 tags created using the Very Best Trio Punch and then embellished with some Texture Chic designer paper, gorgeous glitter washi tape, stunning gold ribbon, sweet Open Leaf Trinkets and stamping from Quiet Meadow in the background.

The amazing titles on my tags come from Amazing Phrasing Sale-a-bration stamp set, and Peaceful Moments.

For the embossing elements I've heat embossed the flowers and splatters from the Quiet Meadow stampset using gold embossing powder. AND I've embossed some of the stunning Rose Gold Foil using the Hive embossing folder.

With the combination of the glitter washi tape, the gold embossing and gold ribbon, and the rose gold foil, my scrap page is full is sparkle and bling!!

The final part of my Tic Tac Toe selection is the 3 photos....... and if you know me, you'll know this is my usual for scrapbooking!!  I always want to use lots of photos on my pages because I think all the photos we take should be included!!

And my final touch to round out all the bling is some gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones.

I hope you keep hopping around everybody!!  Up next is the truely amazing Sherry from Canada.  You'll LOVE her page!

Here is the list of everybody in case you get lost along the way!!

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - my favourite colour.

Hello and Welcome to our monthly scrapping blog hop - full of fabulousness for you!!

This group of creative amazingness use only Stampin' Up! products for our scrapbooking - to inspire you and show you all the potential!!

Our theme for this month is all about Colour!!!  This is super fun!!

The talented Delys Cram designed our challenge for us.

Soooooo, I love GREEN and AQUA colours, but mostly I use LOTS of green!!  My page is a celebration of green and our greenery stamps and die cut products!!  I've used Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Parakeet Party, Old Olive and Mint Macaron.  And these are only a very small fraction of the AMAZING arrays of green in our Stampin' Up! offerings.

When I started designing my page, I wanted to use this lovely photo and at first I thought, hmph, how am I going to use green??  Well in the end I think it worked out ok - as usual, my photos is taken outside near a tree - so green always works!!  My base cardstock is very vanilla.

So, basically , what I did was pull out ALL my dies using leaves, and stamp sets too!!  So I've used the gorgeous Natural Prints stamp set, with some Simply Succulents and Lovely You for the titles.  The dies list is HUGE!!  I used the Blossoming Happiness (for the edges pieces); Natural Prints; Delicate Edges; Designer Tags; Forever Flourishing; and Potted Succulents for the title labels.

My page used lots of fun scraps and came together so easily really (after the first dilemma about colours and photos!!).  I don't usually create pages with only 1 photo - so this was super fun!!!

Up next is the amazing Mai who's work is always glorious!
