Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn.
Tonight you get to enjoy our amazing CASEING the CATTY blog hop. To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues (catty!)
This week, we are CASEING one of the layout templates in our catalogue. If you hover over the QR code on page 13 of the catalogue you will also see lots more layout ideas that make a GREAT starting point for cardmaking, scrapbooking and tags!
I used one of the layouts that are actually featured in the catalogue.

I have ALSO been inspired by a floating card design that was in our weekly email from Stampin' Up! full of great ideas and inspiration - one of the awesome perks of being a demonstrator!! If you'd love to know more, click HERE to see our amazing joining offer this month!!

The floating card using Window Sheet as the card base, and then a frame repeated 4 times on the outside and inside of the card which hides all the gluey bits!! I have also embossed my card front using the Softly Woven 3D embossing folder.

The fun die cut shape I decided to use came from the Frames and Flourish Hot Foil Dies. I've used the die with the deliciously opulent Neutral Noel specialty paper - love this super gold design! I have then used one of the Scalloped Bloom dies with some lovely NEW Mulberry Paper - ooooh it's just lovely! Next I used the Noel Tidings bundle for the greeting and the leafy dies and berries cut from the Timeless Metallic paper and the Metal Effects Specialty paper.

You can see the inside of the card where I have repeated the Frames and Flourish die with more of the Neutral Noel paper and then some Basic White for the writing panel.

The back of the card also has another die cut Neutral Noel frame to complete the picture!! I love the Secret Sea with Gold highlights!!
Up next is the extraordinary Judy
