More Sweet Sorbet - the last days of Sale-a-bration!!

This page is inspired by the card I did HERE for a challenge for Sale-a-bration - I've replicated the same flowers and spread the elements a little to make a page.

The cute little Banner Punch does a fine job to create these lovely little flags.  They are suspended off a piece of the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Bakers Twine.

I'm loving using up my gorgeous cork pieces for the centres of my flowers.

My journalling panel is hidden behind the photo on a tab embellished with some twine, and cork with a pearl centre.

So, here's the card.....

how do you think it compares to the page?

Scallop Tag Topper

This is another project that I have seen everywhere on the internet.  This card has a cute and different opening and it is created using the Scallop Tag Topper punch

Hello Sailor

This is a great stamp set for men!!  So I've made this card using lots of blues with a touch of Tangerine Tango and some silver heat embossing!!

I've used a piece of window sheet for some extra interest too.  I stamped the ships wheel with silver on the window sheet and then layered it over the striped ribbon so it looks like the wheel is on the ribbon!!

Gift Card Holder

This little cutie is made using an envelope - I stamped the envelope, coloured a paper doily, wrapped a piece of Sale-a-bration DSP around and punched the ends with the scallop tag topper punch and voila - a pretty little pocket for a gift card.  The tags are tied with some of our FREE sale-a-bration bakers twine too.  I've decorated one of the side of the tag with some little banners using another FREE Sale-a-bration punch.  Only another 2 more weeks of Sale-a-bration to go so if you want some of these lovely goodies, make an order very soon!!

Love vellum?

I have to admit I do love Vellum - and this printed vellum in the new Occasions catalogue is very very nice.

I've made a pocket by folding a piece and sealing the sides with watercolour washi tape.  This pouch is a replica of the one on page 6 of the catalogue - the only difference is that I didn't sew the edges!!

Card in a Box

These cards are totally on trend right now - there are lots of beautiful examples on the internet and after seeing how easy they are to create I had to try one for myself!!

I've used the watercolour DSP to decorate my box, and then the coordinating coloured ink for my flowers.

My card is slightly smaller than the ones I've seen on the net - I made mine so it can fit inside a standard envelope - and I can make two cards out of one sheet of A4 cardstock.

My card stock is 14 1/2cm x 21cm and scored at 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, and 20cm on the long side, and then scored at 7cm on the short side.

Just Add Sale-a-brations

This week at Just Add Ink, the challenge is to use some of our Sale-a-bration goodies!  And so, this is my little number.......  and looking at it now... wow, I've used lots of sale-a-bration goodies.

Let me list them for you - Petal Parade and Banner Blast stamp sets, Sweet Sorbet DSP and Accessory Pack, and the cute little Banner Punch.

To embellish my flowers I have used the lovely cork from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack and punched out the centres using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and then popped on a little pearl to finish.

Along with my Banner Punch, I have also used lots of other punches - 1/2", 1", 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" circle punches, and the 7/8", and 1 1/4" scallop circle punches.

My colours are:  Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, and Pool Party.

I've also made a coordinating envelope with the Sweet Sorbet paper and the envelope punch board.

Happy Watercolour

Again I have bben inspired by our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator magazine.   This is a lovely stamp set and the flower top is stamped again twice on Calypso Coral to create a three dimensional affect for the flower.

Happy Congratulations

I'm using the On Film framelits again for this happy card!!  It works as a quirky frame for my Birthday card.

A coordinating button finishes the card - the colours are Bemuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry.

On Film Page

Part of the wonderful things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is our regular publications which give us ideas and inspiration.  This page is a copy of one of the projects in this months newsletter - and it was fun and quick to create!!

The page uses the coordinating On Film framelits and Peachy Keen stamp set.  The extras are some of the Retro Fresh washi tape, and some of the In-colour patterned paper.

To create the arrow and tiny flower accent, I have put some washi tape on a scrap of whisper white paper and then punched them out and used the arrow framelit.

I love this fresh and crisp page! It's oozes fun and summertime!!

Lots of PInk

This week at SUO challenges, the challenge is to use pinks and purples - check it out here and see the lovely inspiration for the design team at SUO - to celebrate spring time.

I've made a few bookmarks - they are my 'go to' gift to give as a simple gift to friends in the mail - and I've celebrated all our lovely pinks in the process!!  I've used Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride for the blossoms of Petal Parade, Strawberry Slush for Viola's Lace on the edges and the greeting from Trust God, and then Primrose Petals for the ribbon and cardstock - and I'm so pleased with how pretty these bookmarks look!!

I know my friends love these bookmarks too!!

Lovely Gold and Pistachio

JAI 204

The projects the design team have done are sooo lovely, so make sure you click onto the link and check them out!!

This is the card I made for my youngest daughter for her birthday today!!  I had a lovely time creating this card - got out all my gold goodies and then went from there!  I gold embossed the greeting from Perfectly Penned, and then all the rest is to make it look pretty.    When I finished putting it together with the tab and greeting in the frame, I thought it look like it needed something on the right hand side, so.....

back I dived into the bin to retrieve all the little gold bits of confetti from the frame cut from the gold foil - and then randomly glued them onto the side with crystal effects.  Waste not!!

This card has been CASED straight out of our new Occasions Catalogue - on page 7 - and I love how it has turned out!!  This is an easy peasy image to watercolour, and the Fresh Prints DSP looks so lovely at the bottom of the image!!
