Introducing Stampin' Up! Emerald Envy

At our recent Onstage Training day for Stampin' Up! I had the privilege of creating 25 projects using our brand new Incolours for the new Catalogue starting on 1st June.  So, for the next few days I will introduce you to each of these 5 new colours!!

And her is Emerald Envy - look at this delicious new coordinating ribbon too!!

Here I've stamped using Awesomely Artistic and Sahara Sand.

This time I've coordinated the Emerald Envy with Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon - and stamped using Vintage Leaves.

My final Emerald Envy project is teamed with Basic Black, Guy Greetings and Gorgeous Grunge

Stampin' Up! Sitting Here for the challenge

I'm sitting here looking at some brand NEW stamps coming out in our NEW Catalogue which goes live on 1st June 2016!!  And this stamp set Sitting Here has some really lovely and evocative images of relaxing and enjoying time spent quietly.

This stamp set is totally perfect for the Just Add Ink Challenge this week of Just Add Masking, and I'm also entering the card for the Sketch Challenge for Freshly Made Sketches - using the sketch was a great way to construct my card - after I'd done the main image, then I was lost!!  teehee

The Open Sea - sadly retiring.....

I have loved this stamp set with it's masculine themes and boaty images!!  We made this at our recent heat embossing classes creating a lovely emboss resist image of the ghosty ship!!

I will also be very sad to see the burlap ribbon go - love it's yummy textural qualities!!
(psst - there is some new loose weave burlap ribbon coming in the new Catalogue - such excitement!!)

Stampin' Up! Retiring Cardstock for SUO

We are celebrating our favourite retiring Cardstock and/or DSP with our challenge this week at SUO.

I'm on the team at SUO!

One of my total favourites is the wonderful Corrugated Paper which comes in a pack with 2 sheets of White, and 2 sheets of Kraft.  I think it gives an awesome shabby vintage feel to any project.

I've coupled it with a bunch of retiring ribbons too - the  Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim, Venetian Crochet Trim, Natural Chevron Ribbon, and some Crumb Cake Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.  I've used the (also retiring) stamp set Perfect Pennants, along with a few buttons too!

These DSP's are also retiring - the Incolour Envelope paper, as the Birthday Bouquet DSP.

There are a lot of fabulous papers retiring at the end of this month!!  Grab out your favourites and join in our challenge to celebrate some wonderful Stampin' Up! retiring DSP or cardstock!!

Going Places Suite Stampin' Up! CTC #77

Welcome to our Sunday Blog Hop  AND  a Happy Mothers Day to you too!!

This week we are sharing our inspiration for the Going Places suite in the Occasions Catalogue - pages 38 to 49 to be precise!!

I've gone for the great card on page 39 using the lovely World Traveller Embossing Folder.

After I'd used the embossing folder, I then highlighted the texture using White craft ink and a sponge dauber, and then also used the clear Wink of Stella brush for more highlights and sparkle.  I've only inked up some of the 'world's best dad' greeting as I wanted my card to be a little more flexible.

I really like the look of this card!  And I hope you've been inspired too!!  You can join in the fun by linking to our monthly challenge too by using the following link!

Now it's time for you to keep hopping around all the great projects from the Occasions Catalogue and see what the design team has to share with you!!  You can head back to see Monique or forward to see Judy!

Stampin' Up! Cups & Kettle framelits for CTC #76

Welcome back to Caseing the Catty again this Sunday Night for our weekly blog hop!!
This week we are sharing projects from one of my favourite suites - Have a Cuppa.  I just love these gorgeous Cups and Kettle Framelits and the coordinating stamp set - A Nice Cuppa.

My dear husband LOVES his tea, as does my dear friend Lynda.  When we were being tourists in Brisbane in January and saw the wonderful Tea Centre in the Brisbane Arcade, I just knew I wanted to use these lovely coordinating products to make a fun Scrapbooking Page. And here it is!!

I've been inspired by the cards on the left - with the stacking cups, and the kettle.

I love the idea of colouring the words on the tea cup stack - I've stamped in Cherry Cobbler, and coloured with Hello Honey and Crumb Cake to highlight the words Always and Tea!!

My corner cluster of embellishments mirrors the top of the stacking cups card with the banner ribbon and the bow at the top - I've used my tea pot for part of this banner detail.  The paper comes from the Love Blossoms paper stack - and doesn't it look delicious cut into the lovely teapots!!

My background stamping comes from Timeless Textures which has the great little cup stain, and some wonderful textural elements I've used all around the edges.

It's sad that this lovely suite of stamp set and framelits is retiring, but I've really enjoyed using them to celebrate a wonderfully fun day with friends and family!!

I hope you've been inspired, and that you'll join in the fun this month too!!  It's easy!  Make your project, feature it on your blog and then link it back to us using this great little link here!!

And then it's time for you to keep hopping around our blog for some great inspirational ideas for these few pages of the Occasions Catalogue!!  Just click on previous to go in reverse and see the great project from Rebecca, or next to head on forward to see Simone's lovely project!!
