Succulents colours CI#103

Hello and Welcome to our Colour INKspiration challenge.

This challenge is all about inspiration images combined with some amazing Stampin' Up! © colours.  

I loove the colour palate this time!!!  I love all these autumnal earthy tones.  

I've created a double easel fold using the gorgeous Simply Succulents stamp set and coordinating Potted Succulents dies.  

The plants were coloured using Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the dies.  I've sponged the plant container using blending brushes and Bumblebee ink.  

I made the card with a double easel - one in front to show off more of the gorgeous succulents.  

The brick and mortar embossing folder was also coloured with Blending Brushes and some of the inks.

Time to step it up CTC#326

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.  

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogue (CATTY).

This week, we are stepping up our project and layout!!  There are lots of great examples of this technique scattered through our catalogue and it's a lovely way to introduce new people to the joy of cardmaking and stamping.

I have used this gorgeous fishy card from page 12 as my starting point for my Step it Up journey.  

I have used the wonderful Seascape bundle of the gorgeous Seascape stamp set and coordinating Sea Life dies.  The first and simplest card is this one in the front of my trio - and it is very similar to the project in the catalogue.  It mostly uses simple stamping with the added touch of the gorgeous die featuring this lovely fish.  

Inside the card is more simple stamping and plenty of room to write a greeting.  

The second card for my Step it Up trio is one I've featured before on this blog hop.  If you are a regular you may have recognised it!!  I've added a fussy cut stamped fish, some torn edge stamped paper for the sand detail and I've sponged extra detail and colour onto the fish.  

Inside this card features a few more fussy cut fish and the torn edge.  

The most complex card is my trio is a 3D card with a window sheet front layer to create extra dimension and to look like an aquarium.  

There is more stamping and blending with colour on the back layer of the card, and lots more die cutting detail on the window sheet layer.  

I've again used the torn edge layer for the sand detail.  The Calypso Coral seaweed layer is actually a piece from the Seaside Seashells die.

It was a bit tricky trying to photograph the window sheet without collecting a whole bunch of reflection!!  

The back of the card features a stamped and sponge panel.  I was thrilled with the way this card turned out!!

Global Share Fair Pansy Patch

Hello and Welcome!!  

This weekend is the Global Stampin' Up! Inspiration from the bundles CTC#325

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything, and we love to CASE from our Stampin' Up! catalogues which are full of inspiration. 

This week, the challenge is to CASE a project from the die bundles chapter in the Annual Catalogue - pages 156 - 161.

I was inspired by this sweet card on page 160 featuring Seasons Blessings Bundle.  I like this card because it was a simple layout and I could change it up to suit most stamps!!

I've used the lovely Meadow dies for the floral arrangements with the flowers from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set punched using the Strawberry builder punch.

My 'basket' was created using the Jar punch which I then embossed with the Checks embossing folder.  

I decided to be extra creative with my background and used the largest Potted Succulents die as a mask and sponged randomly using Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent inks and the Blending Brushes.  

The final touch was a few Opal Rounds in the centres of the flowers, and some white bakers twine wrapped around the neck of the jar - just like the inspiration photo.  What do you think?  Could you see the inspiration for my card?
