Mini Catalogue Inspiration CTC#352

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week we are CASEING from the Mini Catalogue!!

I have CASED the sweet heart card from page 8 - can you see my inspiration?

I've used the lovely Gingham embossing folder with vellum which gives a gorgeous white detail that I love!!    I have also used the wonderful Flowing Flowers stamp set instead of the hearts on the original.

The colours are also inspired by the catalogue project and they are:  Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, So Saffron and a tiny touch of Pear Pizzazz.  I've used some of the lovely soft frayed ribbon behind my main image instead of paper, and I've used the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch for my greeting.  The stunning Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels are the same.

Inside features a simple stamped flower - so pretty!!

CASEING is such a great way to get back into the groove of stamping and cardmaking!!

Try this gorgeous colour combination!!

Hello and Welcome to a brilliant colour combination!!

The Colour INKspiration challenge is celebrating it's 5th birthday - woohoooooo!!!

And here are the colours - which I love!!!  Would you like to try this one too??

I was inspired by the photo as well as the colours and broke open my new bundle - Paradise Palms.

I've used the Layering Diorama dies for my window to the scenery, and sponged the 'ocean' using blending brushes and Pacific Point with Coastal Cabana.  The 'moon' and reflection were stamped using White ink.  The reflection stamp is actually the grass stamp from the Paradise Palms stamp set - looks cool hey!!  I created a little shaker window using window sheet and added glitter inside - which stuck to the white ink making it sparkle!!  I love that!!

I've also sponged a bit on the bottom of the inside panel of the card.

What will you make with these colours?  Grab out your gear and get creating!!

Sale-a-bration Inspiration CTC#351

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY.

To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues.

This week, we are CASEING from our Sale-a-bration catalogue!!

Here in Australia we don't yet have all of the Sale-a-bration supplies available (shipping issues worldwide), BUT, we can still CASE from the pages with the projects!!  So I have CASED the lovely tall card on the page featuring the Daffodil Afternoon paper - page 4.

For my project I've used the fun black and white side of the Pattern Party paper from the hostess collection in our Annual Catalogue - so this was EASY.  I grabbed all the scraps in my drawer, chopped them to the approximate sizes and randomly added them all the way up a long strip of basic black cardstock.

My colour inspiration came from the lovely print inside the slim line envelopes and the black and white is so easy to do.  All I needed to do then was choose the pop of colour - which is Granny Apple Green.  I've used the gorgeous Artfully Layered Bundle of the Artfully Layered stamp set and the Tropical Layers dies.

The greeting on the inside of the card comes from the Special Moments Sale-a-bration stamp set - an absolute Must Have!!

This card was for my darling husband for our 31st Wedding Anniversary - and he did love it!!

Make sure you keep hopping around everyone - you'll see some awesome projects!!  Up next is the marvellous Peta!!

Welcome to the Mini Catalogue CTC#350

Hello and Welcome to 2022!!  Happy New Year to you!!

We are BACK with our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge CASEING the CATTY!!  To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up Catalogues - our CATTY!

This week we are CASEING the front cover of our NEW Mini Catalogue which goes live on Tuesday!!  Woohoo!!!

I've literally CASED the whole cover!!  I hope you can see the similarities!!  My photos are framed using the Stitched Rectangles dies with some of the Pattern Party DSP from our Annual Catalogue.

I've also used a bunch of gorgeous NEW goodies that you will find in our Mini Catalogue this coming week.  So, here's the things you MUST order (according to Julia!!!  teehee).  I think the Ranunculus Romance Bundle might be my favourite!!  It's just sooooooo pretty!!  It has gorgeous background stamping and vintage elements as well as some lovely greetings.

I've stamped the large flower with Sahara Sand ink and coloured it using Stampin' Blends, and then die cut it using the coordinating Ranunculus Dies.  The greeting has been heat embossed with white powder and comes from the Sale-a-bration stamp set Special Moments.

The flowers are ridiculously easy to colour with lots of shading and definition in the actual image.

The little embellishments around the photos are also cut using the Ranunculus Dies with Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee cardstock.

The finishing touch is some of the stunning Brushed Butterflies just like the cover of the catalogue!!  I've also hand drawn a square around my photos using a Bumblebee marker to replicate this feature from the catalogue too!!

Make sure you keep hopping all the way around our fun hop.   Up next is the fabulous Rebecca!!

And let's start off 2022 the right way by joining in the challenge with us!!  Just add your project to our fun challenge page here.
