Cute Lil Christmas BonBons

These little cuties were made after chatting to my friend who found this great tutorial on Sara's Crafting and Stamping Studio.Click here to go to the tutorial on how to make them

The greeting is from Petite Pairs, and form Take the Ticket for the one below.

The ribbon on the sides sure gives the little bonbon some pizzazz.

Wondrous Wreath

You may recognise this card from a previous post........

and I have done the card again using different colours and the greeting from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set to create the same card but this time with a Christmas Theme.

Dontcha just love it when a stamp set can be used for lots of different occasions and still look great!!  I sure do appreciate having useful stamps in my stash that I can use over and over again!

Bookmark Love

This is a little gift I have made for my niece for her birthday coming up this weekend.  She is such a sweetie, and I'm sure she'll enjoy having her own bookmark.

I've used Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Crisp Cantaloupe, along with the great stamp set Kinda Eclectic.

I think this little butterflies are so gorgeous, and the rhinestones just add that extra bit of sparkle and bling.

The ribbon on the end is the divine silver satin ribbon tied up with some Pool Party and Blushing Bride cotton ribbon.

Thanks for Anything

This week at SUO challenges, we are giving thanks for anything!  This Seasonally Scattered stamp set has been waiting on my desk for some ink, and so this is the perfect opportunity!!  I stamped it with versamark, and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, and watercoloured the background with Bemuda Bay ink and an aqua painter for the lovely cool colour wash.

My greeting embellishment comes from the Lots of Thanks stamp set, and I have flagged with banner using the little banner punch.  The lovely heart hodgepodge clip tied with some Bemuda Bay thin taffeta ribbon works a treat in the corner along with the vintage faceted button tied with some white bakers twine.

For the final touch, I've added some Incolour sequins attached with mini glue dots for some added bling and sparkle.  So pretty!!  (big smile)

Seasonally Scattered

This lovely stamp set has three gorgeous stamps - and this is one of them!  I have been inspired by the project illustrated in our Holiday Catalogue on page 43.

I heat embossed clear embossing powder over the image and then used an aquapainter with cherry cobbler ink to create the lovely wash over the image.

I've used the greeting from the new stamp set Many Merry Stars featured in our Extra Special Christmas Supplement.  My embellishment cluster features a star from Basics Hodgepodge clips, some sequin trim, and some lovely cherry cobbler seam binding.  There are a few stars punched from the Under The Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper with a cute little gold sequin in the middle.
What do you think?

Happy Birthday in cool blues

I'm currently really enjoying the cool blues - for all occasions too!  This is my daughter's 14th birthday card.

I've used Amazing Birthday, Sketched Birthday, and the Day to Day project life stamp set for the age numbers.

The background is made with the lovely stars embossing folder.
My colours are Bemuda Bay and Coastal Cabana - so pretty and fresh!!

When I looked at the picture, I immediately thought of Mosaic Madness, went to my happy stamping place and created - and then when I looked at the photo again I thought, hmmmmmmm -

But here is my entry anyway..........

It is hard to photograph the yummy dazzling diamonds glimmer paper, but the card does look lovely and sparkly!!

Treat Boxes

The Treat's the Thing is the theme for our challenge at SUO Challenges and I have made some cute little Christmas Boxes - I love to give little gifts to friends, and these little boxes are just perfect!!!

They are the smallest box made with the Gift Box Punch board, and I have used gold foil paper which looks so lovely tied with the glorious Cherry Cobbler linen ribbon.

The little boxes are completed with a little tag from the Take a Ticket stamp set and punched with the coordinating ticket punch.  Voila!  Lovely gift packaging!!

And More Gift Tags

And this is another little pouch of gift tags to give as a gift so some lucky guest at a Stampin' Up party!  When I demonstrated this little pouch, recently, one of the ladies told me, it looks like the way we used to fold cloth nappies!!  Remember them?

Gift Giving

We really like to give handmade gifts to our friends, and recently my daughter gave this lovely hand decorated notebook to her friend for her birthday.

We have a  great time using paper doilies, washi tape, glimmer paper, punched flowers, and a little bit of stamping, along with the date stamp for the date of the birthday!!

Festival of Trees

This is my collection of projects using Festival of Trees - some you will see in the Holiday Catalogue on page 24 and some are my own design - inspired by the awesome projects in the catalogue.

Our Get together

At Our last get together, Heather showed us how to make this lovely stand up card.

We used Flower Shop as our stamp set for our gathering, so we could collect lots of different ideas,

and this was my simple card using punches and DSP.
