This Christmas Holiday Paper for SUO Challenges

Hello and Welcome to our SUO Challenge - using holiday papers!!

I'm on the team at SUO!

The team has put together some wonderful projects using holiday papers to celebrate all sorts of holidays!!!

I've chosen to use some of the gorgeous This Christmas Paper and sponged it to give it an aged vintage look.  I've used the wonderful Star of Night stamp set too.

And I've even stamped and sponged inside the card - and it looks great!  (I don't usually get around to embellishing the inside of a card - but boy it's so wonderfully finished with the inside coordinating with the card!)

Now it's your turn - grab some papers and join in the fun with our challenge using Holiday Papers!!

Father Christmas on my favourite tag - CTC #99

Welcome to Sunday Night Blog Hopping with the wonderful Holiday Catalogue where we inspire and challenge you by CASEing the Catalogue - Copy and Selectively Edit - the projects in the calaogue for your creative inspiration.  This week, we are sharing some gorgeous tags!!

I've been inspired by this Santa Tag on the front of the catalogue - I love the colours and the slightly vintage look of the catalogue tag, and I've taken it further using the divinely traditional Father Christmas stamp set.  I LOVE this look for Santa and I'm so excited to have finally inked this wonderful image!!  I'm grateful to our blog for making me get it out and use it!!

The main image is stamped with Early Espresso and then watercoloured and then I've sponged a little Soft Suede around the edges to give it a vintage feel.  The little extras you can see are some Burlap Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine (from the Bakers Twine Trio Pack) and some Cherry Cobbler ribbon (from the Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack)  I love the way we can get extra value when purchasing bundles and packs of our favourite products!!

Now it's time for you to continue your hop using our lovely buttons - forward to see Krissy's great project, or back to see Kelly's wonderful inspiration.

And if you've been inspired (and we hope you have!) feel free to join in our monthly challenge by using this link!!

Stampin' Up! Holly Berry Happiness for CTC98 Warmth & Cheer

Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop!
Our Blog is about inspiring you to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) from our Catalogues.
This week, we are exploring the Warmth & Cheer chapter - pages 12 - 17.

And I've used this little card on the right from page 15 as my inspiration.

This little card in the Catalogue uses the Hang Your Stocking stamp set........

however, I don't own this set, so I've used my Holly Berry Happiness bundle to create this set of cards

Holly Berry Happiness Photopolymer Bundle

which turned out to be all the same, but all different!!!

And this card, is the most different - it features the punched leaves from the Holly Berry Builder Punch, with only the greeting being stamped.
The other cards feature the stamped images in varying colours.
Which is your favourite?

I prefer the Wild Wasabi card I think - it's the lightest colours, and I've punched gold glimmer paper highlights rather than using the sequins which feature on all the other cards.

Now, for more awesome creativity and inspiration, you need to hop your way through the entire crew - backwards to lovely Judy, or forwards to amazing Kelly.
We love to share our projects with you, AND we love when you share yours with us too - so join in the fun, and add your project to our monthly CASEing the Catty monthly challenge.

Stampin' Up! Helping Me Grow Thank You

Sometimes giving a thank you card is important - and we are celebrating Thanks and Thanksgiving at SUO this week.

Helping Me Grow is a stamp set with a couple of gorgeous images to watercolour, and lots of awesome greetings to say thank you!!  I love to watercolour, so this set is a favourite.

I'm on the team at SUO!

This time I've watercoloured onto Shimmery White cardstock, and then I painted around the images and didn't like it (sad face), so I saved my lovely watercolouring by fussy cutting around the blooms and popping them onto dimensionals onto some beautiful DSP from the Serene Scenery Paper Pack.

I threw a bit of gold around to finish off - some splatters with the gold wink of stella pen, gold ribbon bow, gold bakers twine under the main greeting and a few gold enamel shapes.

I hope you've been inspired enough to join in the fun with our Thanks and Thanksgiving challenge.  Just click on the SUO graphic to head on over to our blog and share your lovely creativity with us!

CTC#97 Favourite Holiday Bundle

Welcome to another wonderful Sunday night blog hop with the awesome CTC crew where we inspire you, share with you, and challenge you to CASE the Catty - this week the Holiday Catalogue, and sharing our favourite Bundle - and there are some wonderful choices for everyone and so lots of fantastic projects to share with you this week.

I've been inspired by the Christmas Pines bundle - I love love love the leaves and pinecones in the thinlits, and the stamps in the stamp set are really wonderful!!

Christmas Pines Photopolymer Bundle

The project that has inspired me is  this gift bag (again I'm inspire by a gift bag!!))on the left side of the image on page 18.

I surprised myself when I made this!  I had turned over the doily and central image to adhere the fronds to the back of this panel before placing the whole piece onto the DSP, and when I flipped it over, I discovered I'd change the orientation of the ferney to the other side!!! wooops!!

And now it's time for you to continue hopping around all the amazing projects this week!  Backwards to Kelly's lovely project or forwards to the great idea from Deb.

And if you're inspired feel free to add your link in our monthly challenge!!
