Today I'm sharing in a fun scrapbooking blog hop!!  This group is international and they have so much fantastic inspiration to share with you.  

This month our theme for the hop is all about our Hobbies!!  And the lovely Lisa designed the theme for us.

Although my main hobby is actually papercraft, or reading or cryptic crosswords, I have scrapped my husband (and family) and their love of fishing and boating on our local river.

And of course, you must use the fantastic Gone Fishing bundle for this page!!  

This title from the stamp set is just PERFECT!!  (There was only 1 fish caught on this day!)

For the background, I've used the gorgeous Let's Go Fishing paper.  I took it up a notch by stamping the watery image randomly over the paper, and also using a blending brush and blue ink as an anchorage point for the photos.  

I've matted all my photos using Night of Navy cardstock and used the Night of Navy marker for the journalling of the date and place.  

And I love the way the fabulous In Colour Glossy dots look with this page.  

The More Dazzle paper worked a treat to look a bit like the bream in the photo.

My card folds up to become a concertina.  I love this fold as a great way to show off glorious papers.

Sweet Colours CTC#461

Tonight I’m sharing some colour fun with the Casing the Catty Crew!! 

 To Case it to Copy and Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin’ Up! Catalogues (CATTY)

This week, we are CASEING the colours of the super sweet Lighter than Air DSP.  I’ve been inspired by the card in the middle!!

I’ve CASED the layout completely and most of the colours.  For my Balmy Blue layer, I sponged with some white ink and masks to try and recreate the patterned crossed paper.

My photos are replacing the hot air balloon as the focal point but basically everything else is pretty much the same.  I’ve used the Lazy Days bundle for the clouds and stamping.

I hope you’re inspired by these pretty colours too!!

Stippled Rose messy watercolouring

Today, I'm joining in a fabulous colour challenge - do you like these colours together?

I thought they were perfect colours for our gorgeous Stippled Rose bundle.

I have created a very simple card.  I stamped using Saddle Brown Staz On ink onto watercolour paper.

The watercolour paper was mounted onto white and then onto a white cardbase!!  The watercolouring is very messy (I was going for an artistic look!!)  I love the way the ink and water blends on water colour paper.  

Inside the card is some more little flowers to make it look pretty!!

Scrapbooking Paul McCartney concert!!

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn!!

Today, I'm sharing some scrapbooking!!  Woohoo.

I've actually created a very simple page - the photos aren't mounted onto mats and theres just a few fussy cut and coloured images and some background stamping.

I do like to get carried away sometimes scrapbooking, but this page is all about the photos!  

I've used the fabulous Enjoy the Rhythm stamp set as well as an old favourite Quiet Meadow for background stamping.

My colours are:  Azure Afternoon, Basic White and Basic Black - and totally inspired by the photos!

I hope you're inspired to immortalise those photos you have a fabulous events and ordinary life!!
