This week Just Add Ink has a colour challenge - using Raspberry Ripple, Coastal Cabana, Sahara Sand, and Very Vanilla. So armed with these colours I made this masculine card with some of my favourite stamps!! I have never entered a colour challenge before so this was a bit of a stretch for me!!
I just LOVE this stamp set - Off the Grid, and I've found it so easy to use for lots of different projects. I have teamed it with the builder wheels - Measuring Stick and Travel Journal stamped in Sahara Sand. The background is Pretty Print Embossing Folder swiped with the Sahara Sand to highlight the textured print.
I have only added a couple of little highlights with the raspberry ripple for the word window accent and the happy birthday greeting on the flags. My final embellishment is some Sahara Sand candy dots onto the raspberry ripple. This was quite a simple card but gee I like how it has turned out!!
And LOOK, this card also fits the criteria for the challenge at SUO Challenges to Make Something Masculine so I'm entering this card into that challenge too!!
Well, what an honour it is for us at Just Add Ink, to have you join in for your very first colour challenge! This is an awesome masculine card, Julia. I never would've thought to use Raspberry Ripple on a 'guy' card, but these colours look amazing for just that purpose. Love what you've made. Thanks for joining us this week!ReplyDelete

Great card Julia - I agree I would not have put Raspberry Ripple on a man card - but it works - it's great. Chantell JAIReplyDelete
