Just Add Sequins

This week at Just Add Ink, there is a challenge to add sequins, and the projects made by the design team are so lovely!!
My card is rather a subdued card for sequins I think, but my star theme certainly drew me towards the lovely star sequins in our In Colour Sequin collection.

My greeting comes from So You, and I've also added some yummy thick bakers twine to the top.

I created the background by lightly stamping the hexagon mosaic folder with Smoky Slate Ink and then 'stamping' onto my card!

I've actually used the Occasions Catalogue as my inspiration for this card:

  1. Julia, I love the contrast of the rustic look of your card, and the shiny sequins; a great match! I think your card has quite a "Western" look about it, and love it! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

  2. Great inky background Julia and l love that you've used star sequins vs round...Great card! Thanks for playing at Just Add Ink.

  3. Thank you for your lovely comments. There is definitely s contrast with the sequins! And the stars are my favourite.

  4. This is such a simple and serene card, love the natural colours you used. And what a great idea to use star sequins!! An amazing card and I'm so glad you joined us at Just Add Ink this week!

  5. Thank you Shona. I really like natural colours too. This thick bakers twine is really great !
