Winter Wonderland Inspiration for CASEing the Catty

Hello and Welcome to our Blog Hop this Week as we cruise through the Winter Wonderland Suite in our Holiday Catalogue.  Be sure to hop on your way through all of the amazing projects from everyone in the design team - you'll love what you see!  For the full list of the design team members and their posts this week, just click on the Blog Hop graphic, or you can hop along from here until you reach the end.
Here on CASEing the Catty we love to be inspired by the Catalogue and to share our inspiration with you too - CASE means to Copy And Share Everything!

My inspiration comes from page 26 - I really am very partial to silver and blues for Christmas.
I've used the Project Life Hello December 2015 stamp set for the snow flakes, and the greeting comes from Oh What Fun.

My first card is quite similar to my inspiration card in the Catalogue - I've used Pool Party ink on vellum over the top of the striped foil vellum, and added an Iced Rhinestone Embellishment.

My second card varies a little more - no vellum here, and I've added some Bemuda Bay cardstock and some silver glimmer paper as well as one of those yummy wooden snowflake elements which I've inked with white craft ink.

I'm not sure which is my favourite.... what about you?

Now it's time for you to hop along to see Kathryn's lovely project, and to be inspired again!!

And if you get lost along the way, just click on the Blog Icon for the full list of participants.

See you next week for more creative inspiration!!

  1. Love the blue and silver. Gorgeous!

  2. Both beautiful cards, Julia, but the second might be my favourite with the Bermuda Bay.

  3. Great cards Julia, think the vellum is my fave!

  4. Beautiful cards, Julia. I love this colour combo as well. The Bermuda Bay one definitely catches my eye.

  5. The vellum on Vellum looks great Julia! I wouldn't have even thought to do that & I love the colour palette of blues & silvers.

  6. I love both your cards Julia. The colours of blue and silver really go together but I do love the second card with the Bermuda Bay. It really catches your eye. I am also in love with the Glimmer Paper and Silver Cord Trim. All perfect additions.

  7. I love the colour combindation!! And that vellum is lovely!! I like both but I think I prefer the second one best.

  8. It's great to showcase different colour combinations for Christmas and silver and blue and that glimmer paper just make it pop.
