Stampin' Up! Cups & Kettle framelits for CTC #76

Welcome back to Caseing the Catty again this Sunday Night for our weekly blog hop!!
This week we are sharing projects from one of my favourite suites - Have a Cuppa.  I just love these gorgeous Cups and Kettle Framelits and the coordinating stamp set - A Nice Cuppa.

My dear husband LOVES his tea, as does my dear friend Lynda.  When we were being tourists in Brisbane in January and saw the wonderful Tea Centre in the Brisbane Arcade, I just knew I wanted to use these lovely coordinating products to make a fun Scrapbooking Page. And here it is!!

I've been inspired by the cards on the left - with the stacking cups, and the kettle.

I love the idea of colouring the words on the tea cup stack - I've stamped in Cherry Cobbler, and coloured with Hello Honey and Crumb Cake to highlight the words Always and Tea!!

My corner cluster of embellishments mirrors the top of the stacking cups card with the banner ribbon and the bow at the top - I've used my tea pot for part of this banner detail.  The paper comes from the Love Blossoms paper stack - and doesn't it look delicious cut into the lovely teapots!!

My background stamping comes from Timeless Textures which has the great little cup stain, and some wonderful textural elements I've used all around the edges.

It's sad that this lovely suite of stamp set and framelits is retiring, but I've really enjoyed using them to celebrate a wonderfully fun day with friends and family!!

I hope you've been inspired, and that you'll join in the fun this month too!!  It's easy!  Make your project, feature it on your blog and then link it back to us using this great little link here!!

And then it's time for you to keep hopping around our blog for some great inspirational ideas for these few pages of the Occasions Catalogue!!  Just click on previous to go in reverse and see the great project from Rebecca, or next to head on forward to see Simone's lovely project!!
