Hello and Welcome to our Stampin' Up! Only Challenge!
This time we are celebrating Summer Time!!
Because I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, it feels like summer time most of the time - we are just now starting to feel a little coolness in the air in July!! We'll probably have about 6-8 weeks of cooler weather, but really, we can hang out at the beach year round - it's always great for a beach walk!
So I've created a balmy beach scene on my card and added the adorable Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set and coordinating Pocket Framelits. I've put dimensionals around the edge of my pocket so that I can use this card as a gift card too. My easel stands up with the help of the oh-so-cute sunglasses!!
I've also used the High Tide stamp set for my watery details, and the sand at the bottom of the card and under the glasses.
Isn't this pocket fabulous - there are lots of awesome little details in the set - a choice of stitching and studs for the top of the pocket too. The background DSP comes from the Colour Theory DSP stack which gives an awesome ombre colour for the sky and sea.
Colours: Dapper Denim, Night of Navy, Crushed Curry and So Saffron.
Now, we'd love you to join in the fun with our challenge and share with us your great Summer Fun ideas too!! What a great challenge we have this time!! Add your projects to our blog site using this link!
Until next time,
Love Julia x
