Colour INKspiration #27 LIght and Dark

Hello and Welcome to another AHMAAZING colour combination from the fabulous Colour INKspiration challenge team.
No automatic alt text available.

The colours this time are:  Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Island Indigo.

I must disclose that Melon Mambo is my least favourite Stampin' Up! colour (I'm so not into pink!!)  However, doesn't it look stunning with the Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Blooms.

This card features the Eclipse technique which is very popular right now!  I've used the Celebrate You Sale-a-bration thinlits and also cut 4 more layers of Powder Pink of the greeting to make it stand out from the panel of the card.  I've used the Pool Party and Island Indigo for the mat behind the feature.  While I was creating this, I toyed with adding some Pool Party or Powder Pink ribbon, but in the end, the glorious detailed image is the magic all in itself I think!!

I hope you've been inspired by these great light and dark colours - lots of floral creations this time.  Make sure you hop over to see glorious cake by Nikki Spencer.

And please join in the fun by adding your project to our lineup on the Colour INKspiration facebook page.

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

  1. SNAP! love this stampset with bright colours. Very clever with the pink behind the Celebrate, and you're right, no ribbon necessary
